FESTIVALS & EVENTS
Italian cuisine, Continental cuisine, Kashmiri, Lebanese, Thai, Chinese, American, or Tex-Mex - bhai Dilli me sab milta hai! But do you know what Delhi’s cuisine is all about?
Dilli Ke Pakwaan Festival has been up since the 8th of this month at Baba Kharag Singh Marg. So, what are you waiting for? Here’s your chance to discover the secrets of Dilli ka khaana. Chandni Chowk ke paranthe, Khan ke kebabs, Chawri Bazaar ke gol gappe, Hyderabad ki biryani, Punjab ki lassi, and the sweet taste of meetha paan to mark an end to an evening full of delightful food - Dilli Ke Pakwaan Festival is a great build up to Valentine's Day. Of course, for those who may have forgotten, there is no better way to celebrate the spirit of our capital city that turned 100 last year. A melting pot of cultures, Delhi also stands pretty as gastro-capital of India.
Organised by Delhi tourism at just the right time, with perfect sunshine, cool breeze, and balmy evenings, there is no reason to not venture out into the curvatures of Connaught Place, find a nice spot, and star digging into some great food from Dilli!
To make it clearer, here is the plan:
8th February: 6:30 pm - Inauguration by Smt. Sheila Dixit, Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi 8th to 14th February: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm Entry: Free Venue: Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place (CP), New Delhi Metro Connect: Rajiv Chowk
