Step into the magical world of Lego, at the Legoland Dubai, and be amazed at the wonderful structures, characters in costume, fun activities and many more incredible attractions that make the trip totally worth your while! Ideal for children from 2-12 years of age, take them to the Legoland Water Park for the ultimate family day. Enjoy the complete Legoland experience with interactive activities, many thrilling rides, around 20 water slides, model building and more!
Timings: Opening October 31st, 2016. Open daily from 10:00 -18:00, with longer opening hours during weekends and holidays.
Cost: Adult general admission tickets to Legoland Dubai: AED 295
Food: Legoland Dubai offers a variety of dining options, from meals on-the-go, to a full-fledged buffet restaurant. Your kids will love their favourite snacks and dishes at the multiple restaurants at the park, and you can also find some healthier options for a guilt-free meal. Choose from the indoor or outdoor seating, as you take in the sights of the beautifully fascinating theme park.
After some fun with machines, kids would simply love the company of dolphins at the famous Dolphinaraium. Dedicate half-a-day for these beautiful creatures of the sea and get ready to be mesmerised by their beguiling ‘Lights and Laser Show’. Later, you can also swim with these friendly mammals! Don’t leave the park without clicking a picture with a dolphin at the Photo Studio.
Timings - There are two dolphin shows that take place at 11 am and 6 pm. The timings for swimming stretch till 4 pm on Thursdays (subject to change). The Dolphinarium is currently closed owing to the month of Ramadan.
Cost – The Dolphin Show costs 100 AED per adult. ‘Swim with Dolphin’ can cost up to 2100 AED for three people.
Food - Do try out the restaurant for quick bites and a range of oriental and continental delicacies.
UAE’s biggest theme park, Wild Wadi Waterpark is situated in Jumeriah, right opposite the iconic Burj Al Arab. This sprawling water park is themed around the Arabian tale of Juha and boasts of over 30 rides, suitable for all ages. From waterfalls and themed adventures like Wipeout, Tantrum Alley and Burj Surj, to a range of surfing experiences; this theme park is a must-visit. Even toddlers can have fun in the special swimming pool at the park.
Timings - 10 am-6 pm from November-February; 10 am-8 pm from June-August; 10 am-7 pm from March-May and September-October. Also, note that the park is only open on Friday and Saturday during Ramadan.
Cost - 175-235 AED
Food - Relish a range of smoothies, ice creams, snacks and pastas at Julshan’s Kitchen and Sinbad’s Galley. At Ali’s BBQ, enjoy delicious grilled food like chicken tikka and kebabs prepared at the live cooking station, or head to Leila’s Stand for freshly made pizzas prepared by the animated chefs.
Sega Republic is a huge indoor theme park with some of the most thrilling rides and games across five zones. Let your kid indulge in video games and the craziest car races, or have unparalleled fun at Lazeraze as they navigate through a web of lasers to reach the stop button. Prepare yourselves for a range of exhilarating rides like Wild Wing and Wild Jungle and get your adrenaline pumping on rollercoaster rides like Spin Gear and Sonic Hooper! Get ready for some serious adventure at Sega Republic.
Timings - 10 am-1 am on weekdays and weekends.
Cost - Choose from a series of passes according to time constraints or ride preferences. The total expenditure will range from 120-400 AED per person.
Food - The park is situated in Dubai Mall, which has a number of eating outlets. Enjoy everything from pizzas and sea food to authentic Arabic cuisine.
Situated at the magnificent Atlantis, The Palm, the Marine & Waterpark section of the hotel comprises five different zones that take you to the unbelievable underwater world.
The Dolphin Bay is a massive dolphin habitat where guests and visitors can swim and play with the lovable mammals. At Aquaventure Waterpark, experience the best of water roller coaster rides, speed slides and a shark safari too! The Lost Chamber Aquarium is a spectacular recreation of Atlantis and has over 65,000 marine animals; it is undoubtedly the best underwater experience in Dubai. Dine in the company of a thousand fish separated by massive glass walls and spot an array of vibrant sea creatures. Brilliantly lit and decorated, take a moment to soak in the beauty of Atlantis. At Marine Animal Adventures and Atlantis Dive Centre, kids can enjoy and learn to scuba dive and swim under full care and safety.
Timings - Enjoy an hour long tour from 1 pm-7 pm from Sunday-Thursday and from 10 am-8 pm on Friday and Saturday. Dive into the Aquatheatre and swim with hundreds of fish from 10:30 am-3:30 pm daily.
Cost - 175-180 AED per person
Food - Atlantis, The Palm has a number of leading restaurants that redefine the experience of dining. From buffets to fine dining a la carte restaurants, enjoy Lebanese, Arabic, Parisian, Italian, Indian, Mediterranean, Continental and South-East Asian cuisine. Nobu, the famous Japanese restaurant is a must-try.
