A few years ago, an eccentric, crazy actor, came to the silver screen. He didn’t have big ticket connections, wasn’t conventionally good looking, didn’t conform to the standards of super-stardom, as set by the industry, and was almost immediately marked off as a fling of the industry. But, after his first film, he got acclaimed critically by experts. He was given a few more chances to do what he did best, and his peers seemed overshadowed in his crazy charm. Soon, Ranveer Singh, as we know him, was a sensation, an industry trend-setter, and an iconoclast.

Not only is the guy grounded and super chilled out with no airs whatsoever, he’s also a travel buff, who enjoys every minute of every day! Being major Instagram freaks, we stalked this gorgeous man down, and found that he’s a happy traveller just like any of us! Just last month, his Instagram account went on fire as he travelled around dreamy Switzerland, giving all of us major travel goals.

Go through his ‘Gram, and we’re sure you’ll agree with us!

At 7000 feet, the summit at MtPilatus offers a beautiful panoramic view from the city of Lucerne to the Lake of Lucerne, from Säntis to Titlis, from the Bernese Alps to Jungfrau, over the Swiss borders from Schwarzwald to the French Alps. And what a dreamy picture this is!

Searching for some peace for his nomadic soul in style as he discovers the Golden Pass!

The Golden Pass starts in Lucerne and ends in Montreux, crossing Meiringen, Interlaken, Spiez, Zweisimmen and Gstaad on the way. After leaving Lucern, the train starts an adventurous ride as it starts climbing the Brünig Pass. The pass is at an altitude of 1008 m, after which the train descends to 413 m to reach Meiringen at 595 m on the valley floor.

Traveller Tip: Sit on the left side of the train if you can, for the best views.

No one wants to say goodbye to this lovely country. I know! The amazing natural beauty of the majestic Alps, the placid lakes, quaint villages, cosmopolitan cities and towering castles – that’s just some of what Switzerland has to offer. Add to it some shopping, wine tasting, delectable chocolates and cheeses and it gets even better.
