Air India Airlines Sectors

Air India Airlines currently operates flights from Mumbai and 12 other Indian cities - Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram.

Air India has also launched a new subsidiary airline, Air India Express, that currently operates 38 flights per week from five points in India - Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Delhi to six destinations in the Gulf - Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Muscat, Salalah and Sharjah. Air India Flights Baggage Rules

Air India luggage policy states that luggage exceeding 115 linear centimeters (l + b + h) in size should be checked-in. As per luggage rules, anything less than that can be treated as carry-on luggage and carried inside the cabin provided the luggage weight does not exceed 8 kgs. As per Air India check-in luggage policy, 25 kgs of luggage is allowed for Economy Class passengers, 35 kgs for Executive Class Passengers and 40 Kgs for First Class Passengers. As per luggage restrictions, lighters, scissors, firearms, explosive materials and all kinds of flammable items are banned on board.
