Ruchi The Prince

This trip has been a very special trip and the most anticipated as i was traveling for the 1st time after covid. Our trip to mysore was only a stop over for a night. I saw good recommendation on mmt and booked it. The rates were good and also the Ruchi The Prince as such was decent with spacious rooms and well designed closet and wash area. However the food was abysmally bad. Though we tried to discount the fact that food in general isn't that great(more of sweet in nature) in karnataka i am not able to give any rating for the food. The bf was part of package and we had 1 dinner to order. The soup was watery with no taste, the chicken was not fresh and not cooked well too. We had ordered for a portion of milk which came in an open flask. However we managed the dinner as we had carried some food and they had decent collection of liquor and 1 good veg starter. We expected the breakfast to be better but it turned out worst. We dint have options, it was either idly vada or upma. On insisting and when we were finishing we were offered poori, coffee was too sugary, watery and thick. Being mysore, mysore dosa wasn't available for breakfast. Very dis appointing.

Me and my family traveled to Mysore for a short weekend trip. We decided to stay at ruchi the prince. The rooms are neat, well maintained and spacious with separate dressing room and balcony in every room as well. Parts of the property is still under renovation. The photos of the property shows a pool but after reaching the property i found out there is no pool. The food at the veg restaurant was really good. Me and my family likes the taste. The property is on the ring road so it is very much accessible. Room service is very prompt too. They have a separate non veg restaurant as well. Overall good stay. Only thing they need to improve on is that they need to clean room everyday at least after request from the guest. Somehow even after the request they failed to do it.

I love the place. It was so well maintained with kids play area and lawn restaurant. The food was good and value for money. Our room was very spacious and perfect for a family of four. Staff for polite and helpful and was prompt on providing details asked. The only thing which we felt cheated is by makemytrip transparency. While booking i provided complete details of all the guests including my 7 year old kid. During booking mm t did not charge us anything extra for the kid. However on reaching Ruchi The Prince we were surprised to see we were charged 2k extra for 2 days for the kid. I had no issue paying as it was in rules. Bt makemytrip did not had this charges while booking and this is my first and last time booking with mm t

It's a nice Ruchi The Prince or rather a resort. Has about 16 rooms. It's next to le ruchi the prince. Both owned by brothers. Room was cozy with a balcony attached and ac. My kid enjoyed the stay thru out. It's bit on the outskirts so it's better to plan where you want to visit during your stay. Although traffic is not bad. It's like a resort with lot of greenery. What they could. Have done better is 1) food isn't that great but not bad either. 2) they don't have the option of pay bill during checkout. Every-time you place an order you need to settle the bill. Bit annoying. It doesn't feel good for yourselves if you don't tip. So i had to pay tips like 6 times settling the bill.

Very good maintenance and an excellent responsive staff. Reception staff, house keeping everyone is so much responsible. One of the best resort i have ever been. I don’t know why there is only 3. 8 star rating in mmt reviews for this property. It is worth 5 stars. Food is also good. Kids garden, open garden restautant were addons. It is a very good experience and the greenery across is awesome. Not much far from the city. It is on the commercial area. Do not expect small retail shops near it. It is located in between automobile showroom and service centres. Everything is perfect as per my experience

It was a pleasant stay. The room was spacious, bathrooms were clean and hot water was available through out the day. Ample parking space was there. The place itself is neatly maintained nice landscape and lots of open spaces. For our purpose the location was nearby. Only area of improvement needed is the service, which is pretty slow. Morning breakfast service started an hour late. Did not eat there as we had come for a wedding.

The rooms are quite big, the cleanliness was excellent. The staff is also very friendly. The Ruchi The Prince has ample space for parking. The Ruchi The Prince has 3+ restaurants where food is good. The Ruchi The Prince also offers complimentary breakfast. The outdoors are lush green and a good play area for kids. The location is also excellent approx 5 km from all major tourist spots.

Everything perfect, food, room staff no problem at all. I would recommend this Ruchi The Prince. One thing Ruchi The Prince must look and that is reception staff behaviour. This person raj at reception is very rude, liar and unprofessional. . 4. It was a pleasant stay with delicious food and courteous staff. Only one draw back the reception guy raj was very rude and unprofessional.

The room amenities and infrastructure and the view was very good!

Stay was good, food was decent, however washrooms sometimes smell bad. Also small insects are found in washroom.

Hotel location little fas from. Ysore palace but on the way to vrindavan garden. Rooms and ambience was very good. Amenities were average. Break fast was not so good as per price range

The stay was extremely comfortable & value for money. Amazing modern amenities with excellent ambience.

Location is amazing, food tasty, rooms and facilities very clean and staff very courteous.

Hotel is good but little expensive.

The place is pretty and neat. Support staff is courteous. The layout of property is not good. And electrical system requires maintenance or upgrade

In ruchi the prince the food cost is bit higher. South indian foods are not available in the menu card. But morning breakfast food complementary is south indian in the restaurant.

Good stay. Nice food. Location is outside the city on the main highway. Still it can be preferred as nice stay.
