Located on the banks of Lake Pichola, Udaipur City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Replete with mirror, marble, silver and inlay work, this beautiful edifice is a photographer’s delight! Symbolic of Rajputana courage and valor, the Chittor Fort was the capital of Mewar and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located atop a hill, this glorious fort is spread across 700 acres and stands testimony to the glorious past of the Mewar dynasty.

Chittorgarh Fort is a 2-hour journey by road from Udaipur.
Built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century, the Kumbhalgarh Fort is famous for being the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. This Mewar fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts of the second-longest wall in the world, about 38 kilometres long.
What’s more? The fort is known for its seven fortified gateways, over 70 temples and unending views of the Aravallis.
Located 84 kilometers away from Udaipur, Kumbhalgarh Fort can be reached via a 2-hour road trip.
Built in 1345, Taragarh is one of the most impressive structures in Bundi. While it may be a bit ramshackle and strewn with lush green vegetation, the palace grounds are a great place for a leisurely stroll. With its curved roofs topping pavilions, excess temple columns and elephant and lotus motifs, the palace is a tribute to Rajput architectural style.
