Jambuvan Cave

Located at Ranavav Taluka, this is one of the most unique places to visit in Porbandar. Mythology says that Jambuvan, the eternal devotee of Lord Rama once lived here. He is believed to have been blessed by the Lord, and thus lived through three different eras.

This cave runs very deep, with a small opening for sunlight. Within the cave you will find a one-of-a-kind Shiv Ling made up of sand and beautiful natural carvings. There’s also a revered Shiva temple outside the cave.

Huzoor Palace

Located by the sea shore at Marine Drive, Huzoor Palace is a popular palace which draws a heavy number of tourists every year. It was in the early 20th century that Maharaja Natwarsinhji – the last ruler of the princely state of Porbandar, constructed this Indo-European styled palace. Although entry to the palace is prohibited, since it is still a private property of the descendants of Natwarsinhji, you can still admire its beauty from outside.
