Five and a half meter below the sea level, ‘Under’ is a magical space. Proudly holding the title of ‘World’s Largest Underwater Restaurant’ and Europe’s first ever, ‘Under’s’ architecture by Snøhetta and several experienced local partners is simply spellbinding.

Designed sensitively, Under is built keeping its geographical conditions and its aquatic neighbours in mind. The concrete walls around are three feet thick, protecting it from the pressure, shock and unplanned marine rough environment. The whole restaurant is designed keeping Norway’s wind and waves in mind so it would be great fun to visit this awe-inspiring restaurant once in your life.

The ‘Under’ Levels

Under has been divided into three distinct levels of excellence:

The Top Level is mainly the entrance and the waiting area. An altogether separate entrance level helps keep the crowd away from the dining and bar areas, allowing the guests to thoroughly enjoy their time when at ‘Under’.

The Middle Level is the champagne bar area.

The Lowest level and the gem of this unique architecture is the dining area. With a seating capacity of 100 guests, “Under” offers the most unique dining experience that ushers guests beyond their comfort zone.
