The Bali Arts Festival, with its vibrant parades and arts, is a particularly enchanting do to attend. The best way to learn about sea turtles is by visiting the two turtle conservation sites at Kuta Beach. The Bali Sea Turtle Society (BSTS) has a large nursery shaped like a turtle, where sand beds contain clusters of eggs that have been rescued from nesting sites. If you’re lucky, you may also be able to help release some of the hatchlings into the sea.
If you enjoy art and craft, and are particularly fascinated by handicrafts from different places, head over to the art villages in Bali. From wood carvers to silversmiths, you can visit these craftsmen to see how they go about making their masterpieces.
