Featuring performances by Coldplay, Jay Z, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Arijit Singh, Katrina Kaif and a number of other artists, this promises to be an evening to remember.

Day 1: 19th November | Saturday

Wherever it is that you are flying in from, it’s a good idea to get the morning flight, so that you’re in Mumbai before noon. If you are looking for hotel options, stay near or within the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), as the concert will take place at MMRDA Grounds- very close to the BKC.

Hotel Suggestions in and Around BKC:

Trident Bandra Kurla or Sofitel Mumbai-BKC:  Rs. 7000 to Rs. 10,000 per night
Hotel Metro Palace or Grand Residency Hotel: Rs. 3000 to Rs. 6000 per night

Check-in into your hotel and head out for lunch. Since the concert begins at 4:00 pm, it’s recommended you explore restaurants near the hotels that will give you time to head back and change for the concert, or go directly to the venue right after.

After a delicious lunch head to MMRDA Grounds for the opening of the concert at 4:00 pm. Watching Coldplay, Ranveer Singh, Shankar Ehsan Loy, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and a number of other performers promises to be an experience of a lifetime. When the concert ends at 10:00 pm, head out for a relaxing dinner.

Visit the Gateway of India and Elephanta Caves: Few landmarks symbolize the spirit of Mumbai more than the Gateway of India. The Gateway is also the starting point for ferries heading towards the ancient Elephanta Caves. Once there, don’t forget to check out Trimurti- a masterpiece sculpture etched on the back walls.

Catch a Play at Prithvi Theatre: Prithvi Theatre is the most renowned theatre for performing arts in Mumbai- with shows from Tuesday through Sunday. After watching a play, chill at Prithvi Café, and try the highly recommended Irish coffee and samosas.

Stroll down Marine Drive: An iconic landmark, the Marine Drive a walk down Marine Drive is highly recommended. Stroll down the promenade and watch the hundreds of glittering street lights that form the ‘Queen’s Necklace’, or just sit by the waterfront and hear the waves crash upon the shore.

What to Eat:

Street Food: Nip into the Bade Miyan restaurant in Colaba for a delicious tikka or roll, gorge on Pao Bhaji served at Sukh Sagar restaurant near Chowpatty beach or enjoy authentic seafood at Trishna or Gajalee.

Maharashtrian Specialities: Make sure you pamper your taste buds with Thaali Peeth (a multigrain tangy pancake), Kandha Pohe (flattened rice nibbles), Sabudana Vada (sago and potato fritter flecked with roasted peanuts), Misal Paav (a spicy curry made of pulses served with bun) and Kothimbir Vadi (coriander leaf and gram flour fritters).

Cocktails and Dinner: Mumbai is the hub of India’s nightlife. Try beer with onion rings at Café Mondegar in Colaba, Watermelon and Feta Cheese Salad at the Tasting Room in Lower Parel or tickle your senses with some nachos, fish and chicken taquitos at Sancho’s Restaurante & Cantina in Bandra West.
