Make the most of this festive break and good weather, and plan that much-awaited getaway.
To help you enjoy a wonderful break without spending too much, here is a list of three superb destinations that you can visit under 10K this October.
With its endless expanse of overwhelming greens, Munnar is an ideal destination for lovers of natural beauty. Set in the Western Ghats of Kerala, this hill town is home to sprawling tea estates, spice plantations, pristine waterfalls and green valleys. Among its other major attractions are a number of wildlife sanctuaries and national parks where rare plant and animal species can be spotted. The Eravikulam National Park is the most popular for its endangered inhabitant—the Nilgiri Tahr, the Lakkam Waterfalls, the Anamudi Peak and the Neelakurinji, a flower that blooms once in twelve years. Munnar is best experienced in October when the landscape is lush green after the rains.
