Built in 1520 AD by Sultan Devi, queen of Raja Ajber Sen, Triloknath Temple is one of the oldest temples in town and houses a three-faced idol of Lord Shiva, along with idols of Narda, Sharda and many other Hindu gods. Explore this temple for its beautiful architecture and while you are here, send some picturesque evenings at Purani Mandi across the Old Victoria Bridge on Mandi Pathankot National Highway.
There is nothing better than camping on a starlit night, especially if you are in Triund. Pitch your tent and watch the night sky change as you take unlimited shots of the night and the stars. If you can, make a time-lapse video as the night turns to day.
It will be an understatement if we say that Ladakh’s landscape is picture perfect; it is far beyond that. Crystalline lakes, barren mountains, sweeping rivers and some of the highest passes on earth, nature presents its many and most fascinating facets here. Take the road to this beautiful heaven when you plan your next trip and you’re in for many delights.
Hong Kong comes alive at night. Be it the markets, the people or the eating joints, the city exudes an energy which is hard to resist. It’s almost like the song “All night long” was written for Hong Kong. With its vibrant nightlife, Hong Kong is undoubtedly the party capital of Asia and a must visit destination for travellers of all kinds.
Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, standing at the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces.
There are days when all you want to do is laze around on a beach. Here is one great example of one of our participants letting her imagination run wild on one of the beaches in the Mediterranean Coast. May be its time to pack your sun hat and flip flops too!
A village of 4000 residents, Turtuk is a city in Ladakh, just a few kilometres from the LOC between India and Pakistan. You will need an Inner Line Permit to visit this place, as for anywhere else in the Nubra Valley region. Trust us when we say a biking trip to this picturesque village is a great idea!
When heading to Sikkim with his family, one of our participants literally fell in love with the beauty of the place. From peaceful monasteries with their carved interiors, sprawling tea estates and rolling hills, and landscapes that remind you of paintings by Van Gogh, Sikkim can be a breathtaking experience.
A tropical paradise in the truest sense of the term, Andaman and Nicobar is located about 1,000 kilometres off the eastern coast of India in the Bay of Bengal.
