Want To Go ?

I love travelling to places where I can learn something new. It could be anything — about the culture, tradition, lifestyle and so on.That was the primary reason why I was dying to go to Nagaland! Second, it’s very beautiful. And third, I have friend who lives there. It was my first time in Dimapur, and I was literally surprised on witnessing the sunset by 4-5 pm. I mean can you believe that?  And, everything in the city would be shut by 5 pm.

The city is very small but has a very colorful vibe. You can find a small scenic lake in the extreme interiors of the city.

The houses here have a lot of woodwork done on them. Also, each house has a mandatory garden which is way bigger than the house itself.

It seemed like a tradition to have plantations within the residential properties here, and of course, a lot of pets!

I ate passion fruit for the first time here, that too from a house garden.

And, the most amazing thing that I saw in Nagaland was that the locals keep tigers, elephants, bear etc. as their pets! I visited a house where they had a 5-years-old black bear. He was huge for his age and they had him caged in the house — would feed him and bathe him in the cage itself.

It was one hell of an experience!

My friend took me to all these amazing places to shop in Nagaland, where I found some amazing collections for girls.

And that’s how I wrapped up my trip — with two bags full of clothes and shoes along with the memories that will last for a lifetime.
