SUMMER IDEAS
Europe is one destination that can hardly be covered in one go. If you are planning your very first trip to this beautiful continent with limited time and budget, your itinerary must wheel around France and Switzerland. Whatever you choose to do, these two gorgeous countries promise you a dreamy experience entwined with medieval era influence. What’s more, we’ve got every day of your vacation carefully planned out!
Arrive in Paris and head straight your hotel to freshen up. In the evening, you can explore this charming and fashionable city on foot. Paris symbolizes the good life, whether it's cheese, romance, infrastructure, French cuisine, luxurious boulevards, wine, shopping or candid sightseeing. Do purchase a bottle of perfume from this city of fragrances. Enjoy a dinner at the hotel, and get a good night’s sleep so that you are refreshed for the next day.
After a delicious breakfast, start exploring the highlights of Paris. Begin with the historical Palace of Versailles, a door to French heritage. Thereafter, head to the Eiffel Tower, where you can take pictures of the cityscape from the top. Spend the afternoon soaking in the enchanting city vibe at one of the boutique cafes. We suggest you try authentic French cuisine for lunch – traditional French Escargots, quiche with cheese and ham, mini steaks with fries, confit de canard or mussels in white wine are all worth an indulgence. In the evening, attend the 'Paris by Evening' tour or enjoy the exquisite River Seine Cruise. There's a lot to visit in Paris – The Louvre, Champs Élysées and Moulin Rouge being the cream of the crop. Marvel at the bohemian apartments, cathedrals, museums and sidewalk cafés as you walk down the cobblestone streets. You may also run into street performers along the way. Stop for a while and let their skills captivate you.

You cannot come to Paris and not visit Disneyland. Spend half a day there, and in the evening, attend the famous 'Lido De Paris' show. If you want to skip Disneyland, you can spend your day museum-hopping – there are plenty in Paris! For lunch, hit a French restaurant for cheeses, pains au chocolat, salted caramel crepe with Chantilly cream and some delicious French wine. If you are a night owl, then try the Winter Vitamin at the Buddha Bar, Smoky Spicy Margarita at Le Calbar, Spiced Rum at Maria Loca and De la Bretagne at Copper Bay. Bon appetite!

This is going to be the road trip of your life! Drive past the vineyards in the scenic French countryside before you enter Swiss territory and reach Zurich. Switzerland is a stunning landlocked country in the centre of Europe with lush green meadows, breathtaking snow-capped Alps and freshwater lakes. Enjoy your first day at leisure and traverse the enchanting neighbourhoods on foot. Get mesmerised by the landscape and treat yourself to some finger-licking cheese and chocolate fondues for lunch. Moreover, Switzerland is also famous for its spa treatments and indigenous watches. Spend your evening shopping and strolling through the markets.
Plan a trip to Jungfraujoch (the highest point of Europe) and Interlaken, which boasts of the world's best glacier lakes. Enroute Jungfraujoch, soak in the beauty of the snow-covered mountains from the comfort of your heated cable car. Switzerland is one of the most expensive countries in the world hence, keep aside a budget of $100 USD per day to enjoy outdoor activities. Feast on the traditional Rosti, Raclette, braised red meat, Lekerlis biscuits with hazelnuts and veal with mushroom for lunch. Finish your meal with 'Engadiner nusstorte', the famous Swiss dessert. Spend the evening at the Watch Museum.

This is your day to scale Mount Titlis and Ice Palace. It is an unforgettable 45-minute long ride to the top, switching 3 cable cars before you arrive to an awe-inspiring view. Green meadows, scenic lakes and the dreamy Alps – take your time to cherish the magical beauty of nature, which is incredibly well-preserved by the Swiss Government. You may need a drink or two to synchronise yourself with the acute cold weather, so chug on some black magic espresso, Rivella milk, Swiss energy power beer, cider perry, traditional Swiss cocktails or Merlot wine to stay warm. Don't forget the cheese appetisers! Spend your evening exploring the city’s vibrant nightlife.
