College Trip to Goa through My Camera Lens!

For college students, Goa is all about freedom, beaches, parties, foreigners and ‘hold my beer’. Holding a beer and relaxing on the beach is an iconic picture of Goa for most youngsters. Therefore, when our department organised a bachelors’ trip to Goa, you all can imagine how happy I must have been!

For the first time, I had a compact camera, Nikon P900, with a devil-like zoom! From the train, the sunrise was spectacular beyond the vast wetlands of Goa. It was as good while returning; the woodland in the full moonlight was worth a view!

Cute Little Crabs at Anjuna Beach

At Anjuna Beach, I found these cute little crabs. I observed them for hours! Tiny to large, all were busy with their lives. They mostly feed on the algae. In addition, the crows and cranes were looking for an opportunity to grab them.

Nests of Weaverbirds!

Returning to the resort from the beach, suddenly it caught my eyes. The nests of weaverbirds! I had always seen this in pictures, but seeing it in front of my eyes was very thrilling.

Sunset in Goa!

Chapora Fort besides Vagator Beach is one of the finest places to experience the sunset in Goa. I have experienced the sunset in Goa a couple of times. First in the monsoon, when it was beautiful with its unique greenery, and then this time in March, the gorgeous sunset is really worth a watch!

Close to Anjuna Beach, Close2C Holiday Homes is one of the good places to stay in Goa, with cottages, a swimming pool, a vast green lawn and a decent dining area. The pool is perfect for groups who want to play and relax. We enjoyed dining with legs dipped in water. The dining area offers liquors too. Although our dining experience at the lawn was not great, it was faultless for chilling!
