Out of the different ways to reach this place, the most exciting one is by cable car, which commences at Mallital. A small temple is also present at this high-altitude point, along with shacks for souvenirs, tea and snacks.
The hilly terrain of Nainital is perfect for adventure enthusiasts who wish to explore the beauty of this hill station on foot. Nainital has several spots around it, such as Barapatthar, an excellent trekking spot 4 kilometres away from the main city, and Kilbury, which is 12 kilometres away, perfect for some peace and solitude amidst green forests and the wonderful views of the Himalayas.
