In the wake of catastrophic floods in Himachal Pradesh, we initiated a multiple-level relief intervention to support and strengthen the affected communities.

Following are some of the key interventions undertook:

·         Distribution of relief kits to over 600 families​

·         Undertook boundary wall repair work & construction of a government high school​

·         Restoration of irrigation and water supply in Kaza

·         Tentage accommodation provided to over 15 families in Manali​

·         Donated material for the construction of 6 Bailey bridges ​

·         Over 30 MT of interlink chains were donated for the construction of a protection wall on the landslide-prone mountain faces ​

·         Ration and bedding were given to an old age home, orphanage, and a hostel for mentally challenged women ​

·         Rescue equipment was donated to a group of local volunteers to respond to rescue calls in the region.
