As we all know, Kempty Falls is one of the most famous tourist spots of the city. If Mussoorie is regarded as the Queen of Hills, Kempty Falls is undoubtedly its crown. It is located a distance of about 15 km from Mussoorie and well connected by all modes of transport which can easily take you there.

Unfortunately, due to lack of awareness among locals and unethical waste management practices, this place is crumbling down into litter and thus facing a severe threat of water pollution and land pollution.

In collaboration with the Waste Warriors Society and the Forest Department, we have started a project to build a sustainable waste management model. To create awareness within the area, we coordinate with the local community, Vypaar Mandal and Zila Panchayat. We aim to make a standard and sustainable waste management system for the tourist hotspots of Uttarakhand with a vision of zero waste destinations.
