The current fleet size of Vistara airlines is 35 with 26 Airbus A320 and 9 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft. It serves 33 destinations and there are 200 daily flights. Among the major domestic destinations of the airline are Chennai, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kolkata, Jodhpur and Varanasi.
Vistara airlines domestic baggage allowance
There are three different classes of travel that Vistara provides and they are Economy Class, Premium Economy Class and Business Class. For each of these classes, there are three other categories - Lite/value, Standard and Flexi - in which the baggage allowances vary.
Passengers travelling in the Economy Lite class can carry only one piece of check-in baggage weighing not more than 15kg. For those travelling in the Economy Standard class, the total check-in baggage weight should not be more than 15kg and is irrespective of the number of items. In the Economy Flexi class, the check-in baggage allowance is 20kg.
Vistara airlines’ domestic baggage allowance for those travelling in Premium Economy Lite cabins is 20kg. In the Premium Economy Standard cabins, passengers can carry 25kg as check-in baggage and in Premium Economy Flexi cabins, passengers are allowed to carry 30kg.

Vistara airline’s carry-on baggage allowance varies accordingly with the three different classes of travel. Economy class passengers can carry 7kg and Premium Economy class passengers can carry 10kg. In the Business class, passengers can carry 12kg as hand baggage. Along with the hand baggage, a passenger is also allowed to carry a lady’s purse or a laptop bag.
Extra hand baggage, apart from Vistara airline’s allowance for domestic flights, comes with an additional charge of INR 250 per kilogram. For Economy Lite passengers, this feature is not available.
