If you decide to cancel a booking already made using your Farewell Gift Card, you will be refunded by the company. MakeMyTrip refunds all cancelled bookings within the validity period. After deducting cancellation charges, the remaining amount is refunded. If one asks for a refund after the validity of the card is over, there will be no refund.

But if you are not able to redeem your card online for some reason, MakeMyTrip allows you to redeem your Farewell Gift Card offline while you are booking a holiday package. It is not possible to cancel a Farewell Gift Card that is already issued. Any MakeMyTrip gift card is a pre-paid gift voucher to buy services and products as listed on the MakeMyTrip website. The monetary value of your gift card can only be redeemed through the services and products offered on MakeMyTrip. You cannot encash your gift card for either cash in hand or an equal amount of money in your account.
