Jhampore Beach: This is a calm and idyllic beach of Daman. It is located along the Moti Daman area. Surrounded by casuarina trees, this place is ideal for some peaceful time.

Church of Bom Jesus: This church was established during the Portugese rule in this part of the country. It is a parish church that has been built to match the Portugese style. Today, it has become a main attraction of Daman tourism.

Mirasol Waterpark: This waterpark or lake resort is located near the Devka beach. It houses many water rides, a nice restaurant, and boating in the lake present here.

How to Reach?

One can reach the town of Daman via roads, air or train. The nearest airport is in Surat which is about 125 kms from this town. The nearest railway station is in Vapi which is about 10kms from this town. One can take a cab or other forms of local transport to reach Daman from Surat and Vapi. Daman is also connected via roads.

When to Visit
A weekend, any month, is the perfect time to reach this destination and no wonder, tourism in Daman is throbbing throughout the year. It has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 32⁰C throughout the year. It houses an ideal climate, and due to the presence of the beach one would not feel the heat.
