The location is quite far from the city center, so you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs around 5 manat. The bed and amenities are fairly average. The typical sewer smell in the bathrooms, common in parts of eurasia and central asia, didn’t surprise me. On the positive side, the hot water supply is reliable, and the rooms are cleaned daily as long as you put up the “cleaning” sign. They also replenish water, towels, and toiletries. I was pleasantly surprised to find an automatic bidet attached to the toilet. Breakfast is basic and repetitive, but it’s available daily from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. The hosts are friendly, though the front desk staff won’t help with luggage unless you specifically request it, as they did when i arrived. However, they may not answer calls during late-night hours. Only a few staff members speak english. The cost of the Auroom Hotel Baku seems quite high, possibly due to the cop29 event. If you need assistance with the tv, heater, or fridge, you’ll have to request it. Despite these small inconveniences, the stay was peaceful. There’s also a decent bar-restaurant across from the Auroom Hotel Baku where you can enjoy a drink or a meal.
