Should probably put something in the check in instructions on how to get up from P2 - calling security, or finding stairs - when you get locked in the parkade. Condo could have been cleaner, but it was comfortable and had necessities.

Excellent apartment for the price. Large with excellent views of the City. I did notice some smells coming from other apartments, even with all of the windows closed, which was a bit disappointing.

This property should be de-listed for accommodation until repairs are made to fix a leak in the ceiling that contributes to a disgusting odor that greets the guests upon entry to the apartment. It can only be described as a foul combination of fish and mould. We contacted the property about the active leak in the ceiling (right above the bed in the master bedroom and nothing was done. There are several stains on the ceiling in the master bedroom from this leak which has clearly been ongoing for quite some time as the damage is fairly extensive, including bubbling of the drywall just inside the bedroom door. The property managers were incredibly unhelpful and have now tried to charge us for a broken glass that was left in the cupboard by either their cleaning staff or the previous visitors. The least of our issue was the fact that this property was listed as a "park view" when it in fact faces an apartment across the street with no park in sight. I want my money back from this property as no one should be staying in an apartment with such obvious maintenance issues.

The system for picking up keys is very inconvenient. Got stuck and lost behind a one way door. Poor value for money.

The AC was not working. It is an essential feature for me and my family, I would never get a place with no AC. I let the host (global-stay.com) know. I called and emailed them. They kept telling me that they would send someone to fix it. I kept calling and email throughout my whole stay, but not one ever showed up and AC never worked. At some point they just stopped replying and answering my calls. It was extremely frustrated! Not just for their lack of response, but for the overall lack of comfort!!!!! For me AND MY FAMILY! Never ever staying there again, or dealing with global-stay 😡😡😡

I found it very frustrating that once the key was returned to the lock box, I could not exit the parking garage using the elevators. I had to use the stairs to exit. This was difficult for me. I was carrying a suitcase and I have mobility issues.

The location was ideal for us. Still minutes from the a few destinations Make sure to get your room number and floor number before your stay or your waiting awhile to get a hold of them to get that information. The room was comfortable and somewhat clean still marks on mirrors and glass table and windows were dirty, the balcony was covered in bird droppings. we were on the 2nd floor wasn't ideal we could hear alot of commotion on the ground parking area in the mornings but couldn't switch our rooms because it's not a hotel. Pool and spa area was good . But Sandy both days we were there sand in pool and hot tub. Parking was 20 extra per night. You could get away with parking on the street at night there was plenty. But we did pay for the spot that came with the room. Not sure why we had to pay when it's assigned to room. Overall 7 out of 10 for comfortablitly and location.

For price per night I excepted a little more. The directions for getting the key were not complete. If the door man had not warned us about the doors in the parking garage, we would have been locked out while getting the key to the unit. We had 2 partial rolls of toilet paper and 1 tissue, which wasn't enough for 4 nights. The coffee maker on/off button was broken, the only place to hang our towels were on door knobs, the only place to put our suitcases was the floor, the lamp in the office area was wiggly, and over all the furnishings were VERY cheap.

Property was clean, well located, and well appointed. We would stay here again. Check in and out was straightforward. It would be helpful to have a "manual" with all the info like wifi, etc in one place. While my questions were answered pretty quickly, it would be easier to just have all the info in one place.

Pro: -This property is in a great location near a lot of amenities… the subway, groceries, LCBO to name a few. -The apartment looked clean and was well equipped with a good layout. -Nice looking decor. -good supply of towels -The key fob was convenient. -parking easy and cheap…$7 for overnight to 10am Cons: -the unit lock box was hard to find until I did a close up of the box picture and saw the approximate location. -you find out about the damage deposit after you do the non refundable booking. This refundable charge should be stated upfront. -the advertising states Netflix is included but it is not. IF you have an account already, you can sign in to your account. It should advertised as available IF you have an account. . -Finally the living room sofa looks cute but is so uncomfortable it is impossible to sit/ lie on. It is a miserable sit. The chair is not much better. The owner really needs to replace these two items for more comfortable furniture for the price of the rental. Any big guy could never sit comfortably or for long in either of those pieces of furniture.

We were very happy with this unit with a great view of North Toronto. It was well-equipped and clean. Parking was easy and a good price on the weekend. Of course plenty of restaurants, the subway, grocery stores so close. Hope to return.

The communication was delayed, they failed to resolve the issue and even nowni have not heard back, days after checking out. Dishes in the dishwasher + linens in the dryer : you HOPE it was all washed, but you cannot be sure. Some items in the dishwasher looked questionable. As you check in the door is unlocked , they key is in the room. The front desk doorman opens doors and even people without the key fob can come in. Did not feel very comfortable knowing anyone could have walked into that apartment. Thw entry code given to me did not work so i had to be let in. The apartment was fine, aside from the fact that there was no TV remote and when the customer service rep. Sent a new remote it was the wrong one, unusable. My trip was for family emergency, not for tourism, so in the evenings i could use some tv distraction. The tv itself could not be operated without a remote. Summary : apartment ans location -good Parking - very expensive , not included Customer service : although courteous but overall incompetent and would not get your matter resolved. Conclusion : definately do not recommend. If it were not for the fact that i had to tske care of a family member at the hospital, i would have taken the time to book elsewhere.

The property is in an area with no other hotels - so it was great to find accommodation near my meetings. The furnishings in the condo are sub-standard, uncomfortable, and not suitable for business travel. There was no desk, no storage for clothing except for closet hangers, the beds, bedding, and pillows were all sub-standard for even low-tier hotels, and seating was abysmal. an uncomfortable couch, in front of a small tv made it impossible to wind down after a long day of work. The worst part is the sound from outside, which is a loud, mid-pitch HVAC hum that envelops the room when trying to sleep. I would not return to this hotel, and I will be way of staying in a GlobalStay again. I appreciate being able to stay in a beautiful condo building, but this is not even close to mid-tier hotel stay of at the same price point. As well, the listing was not up front about parking fees, nor the specifics about needing to disclose ID prior to check-in or the significant damage fees held on credit card which they withhold for two weeks.

The check in process via email took about an hour. They required me to take a selfie with my passport for verification which I have never had to do. Mind you I am still driving so I have to pull over to do this. Im transferred to multiple people responding to me replying trying to check into this place. Then they say the place im going the power is out and the elevator does not work. So I have to go to another location with another unit. the code they gave me to get into the door did not work. My truck did not fit in their parking garage down the street so I found street parking way closer. The unit was clean but the furniture and bed were the cheapest most uncomfy things ever. The couch had about 1 inch of foam before it was just wood. The bed was the cheapest spring mattress ive ever laid on. It said the deposit was going to be 300 US. They they say its going to be 1000USD. So whatever i give it to them. Ive been checked out for 5 days and they have not refunded me the deposit.
