Ocean Hotel

Hotel has sauna room-but it is chargeable. Which Ocean Hotel charges for sauna /steam room ??. Few rooms have no door to bathroom. Its like staying in big bathroom. Really bad idea. Even if you a single traveler . Breakfast was good, but I wish they had better options for vegetarians. Though non veg variety was huge. But no proper . Location is very good. I stay here every time I visit Guangzhou . Opposite to Ocean Hotel is an indian restaurant "bombay grill". Reception few staff speaks good english. Language not a problem in this Ocean Hotel . Really neat and clean Ocean Hotel, with very good service.

It's one of the best Ocean Hotel I stayed in Guangzhou. It's walking distance from the Huangshi Donglu metro station and Canton Food Street is opposite to road. This street have lots of local restaurants and bakeries. If you want a cheap laundry there is one behind the food street which is almost 10% of the price taken in Ocean Hotel. There is also a grocery and wine store right next to the lobby.

I used to stay in this Hotel as this is a very good and cheap average Hotel in the City, but I didn't recommend this Hotel for three person in standard room because that room was very small for three persons, after putting the third bed in the room we can't even move easily. Overall it was nice staying here as always.

Stayed for overnight business trip. The Hotel is centrally located and situated at walking distance/quite close to train Station and restaurants. Clean and hygienic rooms. I didn't eat breakfast though. Strongly recommended for business travellers. Easy taxi availability. Staff speak english.

Very nice location, nearby metro and eateries, secure and descent place, worth more than we are paying, almost 2 years every time I come to Guangzhou I prefer this Ocean Hotel and also recommend all of my friends, A comfortable business Ocean Hotel

We loved our stay at Ocean in Guangzhou. It's a nice area with lots of food options around the area. They have a nice lobby and the reception staff speak English (which is BIG relief in China). We would definitely stay there next time.

This Ocean Hotel is on the main road and centrally located, the rooms are neat & Clean and fresh, similarly the Bathroom are also very neat & clean and always fresh. The Ocean Hotel reception is very helpful in guiding for any inquiry.

Close to ouzhang metro station. Many restaurants around. Convenience store at ground level. Tandoor indian restaurant by walk situated on first floor of asian Ocean Hotel. Starbucks is nearby. Not so ideal for family or leisure trips.

Every thing is fine and comfort

This Ocean Hotel is very nice having all the facilities.

We had a lovely stay of 6 nights. Nice ambience and location.

I have stayed for 7 nights in this Hotel, its a good Hotel near to subway metro and market areas and also some clubs.

Best Hotel to stay in Guangzhou

Good Ocean Hotel with genuine prices.
Room was having all things up-to mark except toilet seat placement was just bed and no partition or curtain was there, which was not excepted. This is the only negative point about this room.

Nice stay, old and Clean property opposite to Indian restaurant.

Very clean rooms. Supportive staff, reasonable price. Nice ambience, near to Taojin metro station. Must visit.
