Good hotel very convenient location

Stayed for 5 days in holiday inn hongqiao recently on a business tour - the room size was decent, toilet was a bit small, place was neat and clean but most importantly the location was very convenient - it is very close to hongqiao international airport and railway station. We chose this Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao primarily on account of the location as we had to fly in and fly out from shanghai and also take a train for an outstation meeting - it is only around 10 -1 5 mins from taxi from both these terminals. The staff is helpful and speaks good english which is a blessing. The food int he restaurant is fairly limited and could do with more options. The Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao is located close to the honqiao business hub and there are many options for restaurants within walking distance. Also there is are a few convenience stores very close e to the Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao for small knick knacks. I think the only 2 issues which could have improved the rating are : 1. Being close to the airports there is disturbance from the airplanes taking off and landing but this is minimal at night. 2. The toilets could have been bigger overall a satisfying Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao to stay in.

This is a nice big Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao with all modern facilities. They offer big fat breakfast too. Their staff are helpful but some of them are extremely callous and slow. They can't even understand basic English. I lost my Mobile in the lobby, I requested them several times to look into the matter, they were lenient. It is only when my Chinese colleague intervene, I got back my Mobile within 30 minutes. It is really a matter of concern for an international chain. I was there for 7 nights, 6 nights were booked by my company and I personally booked for one night. Overall big, well managed property with all standard amenities.

I am staying here second time within a week, first time we forget our wallet in the Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao & we requested them to take care of they found & when we visited again for check in they said that we have kept your wallet safely, wonderful experience & very nice staff especially anne li at the front desk is amazing. Thank you holiday inn for the nice hospitality.

Hotel is very nice and comfortable. The room size is big. Location was very convenient for us as it is close to hongqiao airport and to national exhibition centre. Food was very good with good range of fruits and other items. I am vegetarian and i good find enough items for me as well.
