this hotel is for the traveller, old style building which may not be to every bodies taste. buffet style breakfast, excellent choice for those seeking something different in a safe area.

This hotel is in one of the best locations for this city. a safe zone, close to many bars restaurants and a great amount of music on weekends. the rooms are nice and quiet. it is a quaint place and the staff is great. the building is not the hilton, but if you want true flavor of the city it is just right!
Hotel in the center of all the action
The hotel is really nice; colonial style, beautiful interior design. It is amazingly clean, I don't know how they manage to get rid of the dust. The furnishing of the rooms is simple, even somewhat outdated but it is very uncomfortable and unpretentious. The staff is very helpful. If you need a taxi or uber ordered for you, they'll do it and will fix the price for you which I found really helpful, especially with taxis. I was there for work and needed a ride every day for a week. The receptionist never hesitated to get me the best price. The hotel is located right in the middle of all the night life action on and around Rio Vermehlio. It does get pretty noisy on the weekend but the noise stops at around midnight. The breakfast is included in the price and it is amazing: fresh papaya, different tapioca products, all traditional Brazilian and Bahian food. It has a beautiful courtyard where one can have their coffee in the morning. There is a beach right behind it. It's not the best beach, it's pretty rocky but there are small boats one can rent.

Everything was wonderful-the neighborhood is safe and fun with good restaurants and close to beach. The breakfast delicious, the room fine and comfortable. It is very pretty. Wagner at the front desk was helpful and delightful. The ladies in the kitchen were warm and friendly. The only difficult part was the keys- very confusing.
Regal decore, comfy bed and plenty of fresh towels. Great location just one block from the action. Public bus runs frequently and will get you to Barra Beach or Barra Shopping for about $1. Uber is easy and cheap. Quite, clean and safe place to rest your head. The staff is quite kind and will assist you with ease. Breakfast is nice.
OK, but under expectations
By picture I expected nice colonial style hotel, but ended in a dark rook with wall 1m in front of the window and almost not light coming in.
Estadia boa, quarto com espaço pinturas decorações e ambientes acolhedores. Café da manhã muito bom também. Só faltou ter uma piscina e o Wi-Fi estar funcionando.
Hotel confortável em ótima localização de Salvador, próximo de mercados, restaurantes, bares e da orla. Quarto excelente, com muito conforto e espaçoso mesmo para mim que estava viajando sozinho. Apenas uma dica é que a acomodação disponibilize letreiros de "não perturbe" para que os hóspedes coloquem na porta quando necessário, pois eu fui incomodado pela limpeza diversas vezes enquanto dormia.
Já me hospedei e voltarei a me hospedar novamente no hotel. Recomendo.

Pousada charmosa, com um belo jardim. Infelizmente há uma grande fonte no paisagismo que está desativada e juntando água limpa, propícia pra dengue. O quarto era escuro, antigo, sem o charme da pousada. O staff é atencioso, especialmente recepção e cozinheiras.
Hotel super bem localizado, funcionários extremamente simpáticos e prestativos, quarto super limpo e cheiroso com uma vista linda especialmente no hiorário do pôr do sol (quarto com vista parcial para o mar), café da manhã muito bom.
