linda.friendsAug 11, 2024 We spent a fantastic long weekend in the Humboldt Park and Spa Hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the staff super friendly and the room was extraordinary. We felt like royalty in the spacious, clean , modern and super comfortable room with an extra TV/living room, big bathroom with tub, extra guest bathroom and bedroom with sitting area. The Spa has a sauna and steam room, whirlpool and swimming pool. Everything was very clean and well maintained.
We can highly recommend staying in this central area of the town with only 2 minutes to walk to the hot springs, close to the thermal swimming pools, on the river and the park and near lots of restaurants and shops.
Very friendly helpful Staff!! Clean, quiet, rooms. Amazing sauna and jacuzzi. Good selection for breakfast.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. No customer service and very unfriendly manager.

Beautiful traditional style rooms with enough spac
Beautiful room with everything in great shape. Bedroom itself had a good size and on top of it there was a proper foyer fit for a large apartment. Hotel's own spa is very small but enough for a refreshing quick morning swim. Unfortunately no air conditioning. Location of the hotel is great.
Nicely located and comfortable hotel
The stay in this hotel was very nice. It is located just a few steps from the main promenade and has a Thermal hotel views. The breakfast was superb with a variety of cold and hot meals. The room was spacious. The receptionist was a little slow but very friendly.
Friendly front desk. Bar didnt stock any beer despite having beer taps. Pleasant area to walk around.

It's hard to beat Humboldt. It's perfect in every way. Very comfortable spacious room. Great spa. Great staff.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we have to move to another hotel due to hot water issue. The receptionist told us that we should be happy with the other hotel. When we got there, we were very disappointed with the arrangement. This hotel is old, no swimming pool, not what we expected. We went back to Humboldt Park Hotel. We saw guests coming out of the hotel, looks like they were staying at the hotel. There were some guests waiting at the lobby for their rooms ready. The manager then told us that only part of the building has the problem. To be honest, I am not sure if she is telling me the truth. This is because when I checked their web site, there is a new 4-day stay policy while we were staying there for 2 nights. Finally, the manager found me a similar rating hotel for us. Please note that this caused me more than 2 hours to fix their problem. Very disappointed, will definitely not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Beautiful Hotel on the main Promenade
Pre-arrival, the Humboldt Park Hotel arranged for a taxi to meet us and deliver us to this beautiful Hotel (June 22-24, 2017). Centrally located in Karlovy Vary, we were close to the shopping centers on either side of the promenade and directly across from where the 52nd Karlovy Film Festival is held. After one small glitch, we were moved to a spectacular suite which really got our 3 days set for a wonderful time. Special Thanks to Jana (Hotel Director) for her commitment to guests -- She's the BEST
No air condition - was very hot.
I was surprised to get a big parking bill ( I thought it was par of the room fare)

exceptional value...was not told needed to reserve parking...ended up parking in Thermal Hotel nearby which was only 10Euro for the night.

Classic old world hotel. Heavy wood doors, many nice refinements. Only complaint was no a/c, but that is the norm with most of the hotels in town.

One night stop over, room spacious and comfortable, very clean. Had booked a request for a room away from lift but room was next to it on 4th floor. Alternative was next to service lift and was worse. Disappointing but Michael,reception guy, tried his best but could not offer us a solution. Noise wasn't too bad as clientele mainly in bed by 10! Anyway Michael compensated us okay so fair result. If you want a quiet room, check in advance you are definitely away from the two lifts.

Small room cramped with luggage
Pleasant staff. Double room was very tight with luggage of any size. No fans available and no air conditioning in rooms although listing said there was.
