Hospitality was great, food was also very good. Close to beach. Room was clean enough in such low price.

They were not informed about our booking even after i paid full amount. The check in time was 2 pm and we reached there by 3. 30 pm, then we had to wait for cleaning. The care taker told they haven't received any information regarding our booking.

Hi, we visited this property on august and felt like more worth able for the price quoted. Hosting was superb, they provide everything we ask. 200 mtrs away from beach which gives a feeling of private beach. They provide bike facility, food and transfers on request. Totally good.

I booked 2 ac room but ac not working and i get non ac room i am very disappoid and staff very bad behaviour. I am not choose this property and i will complaint to police station for cheating

The host is good. They don't disturb you in any manner. Joe is very cooperative. The property is just 100 mtrs from marari beach. Walkable distance. Breakfast is simple and tasty. Wifi available. If you have heavy luggage, it may cause problem coz car wont go last 50 mtrs to the home stay due to sand. Recommended

When we reached there it appeared that they were not even aware of my booking on that day, even after i contacted them the previous day. Room a c was not functioning properly. Not able to reach up to the resort by car because of the poor road. There is not a single board anywhere, even in front of the residency. No provision for food nearby. Because of the intolerable conditions we checked out on the same day evening and returned home. Not stayed there "marari cleetus residency"

It was my first stay at a homestay, and the experience was wonderful, mostly because the owner/ caretaker were veryy helpful and understanding. The place was well maintained, and just on the beach. It was perfect !

Our stay was made pleasant and comfortable by the host, he went above and beyond in shifting our baggage to the villa as the stay was close to beach and our tempo couldn't reach the villa due to beach sand, special mention about the breakfast, tasty and hot would highly recommend the place

Poor Stay

The property is not worth for the rate they charge, they are not professionals, breakfast was below average, just for name sake they were giving, rooms were not cleaned after check in for 3 days, toilets started stinking, no water bottles given after check in, they billed gas charges rs. 400 for total 1 hr cooking of two days.

The stay was overbooked, they had taken bookings. - When we reached the hotel, manager gave us one room with single bed only and told us that this is the only room available. After we refused to take the room he shifted us to a room in an under construction property after 2-3 hours. - Next day we were asked to vacate one of the rooms and move to a 3rd property. When we refused to do so one of the manager told that the other guest has paid higher amount than us so we will have to "adjust". After arguing for more than an hour property manager started telling to cancel the booking and move out as he knew that we won't get booking anywhere else due to peak season. Changing the rooms twice in 2 days ruined the whole experience.

- excellent location - 100 meters from marari beach - got tasty breakfast (included in the package) - the room was clean - host was helpful and responsive - only thing missing - no good restaurant nearby - dinner needs to be ordered and will be delivered by a person on bike, - car parking outside the property - 25 meters away.

This homestay has been exceptional in all the ways. Few meters away from the stunning marari beach, this homestay is affordable and the host mr. Jomon cleetus is super hospitable and helpful. He literally helped us throughout our trip - be it from arranging food, beverages, transportation, backwaters trip. He went out of his way to demonstrate such hospitality which was an added bonus to our experience. This homestay only provides breakfast which is super cheap and tasty. If you want to extend your check out time, a very nominal price is charged. However, if you are interested for a work of home place then this homestay will not be suitable for you as no wifi is provided.
