All the houseboats have three crew members. These include the cabin assistant, chef, and the driver. The professionally trained English speaking crew are fluent in conversation.The speciality of the houseboat is the Bio-toilets, which are approved by KPCB.

The itinerary of the houseboat is as follows: The cruise starts at 12 in the noon and reaches Kayal within an hour.Lunch is served at 1.30 pm and the cruise leaves again at 3 pm for Pullangady and reaches there by 6 pm via the Pallathuruthy River.On the next morning, the route follows the small villages of Chennamkary, Kainkary, Pallathuruthy, and Kuppapuram to finally reach Alleppey at 9 am.
