It’s a house only not a hotel, we faced major issue due to unavailability of wifi, which was mis informed us via website. It was working day so it costed a lot at office. Food quality is not even average, somehow we managed. Helpers seems very lazy for everything starting from picking our bags to room or back to car and for any small things. There were lot of electricity cutoffs and they hesitated to switch on the generator. Basically we have struggled for good service.

Readout is good but no maintenance and because of this every where it is dirty. Food was good but too costly. 3 small phulka 100 rupees is not acceptable. No fridge, tv there in the suit room. The service is very poor. Not value for money

Phenomenal stay amid-st lush coffee plantations. Excellent service, great food, amazing rooms, peaceful surroundings. Love it! will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Location was good but stay was unpleasant due to lizards all over the room. Room service was not available. Very limited food options in breakfast. Last day we are not able to get the tea also.

The rooms are nice and spacious. Very elegant. There is a jacuzzi too that you can use to relax. A walk around the plantations is something that can be done to pass the time

Stay at goldfinch - not a "to be experience"

Only room is good. But there is nothing else in the property, which makes it a good weekend spot. No tv, no wifi, no toiletries (only soap and shampoo provided. Food is average. Book this place only if you have other plans for the day and want to stay at night. Else it's boring and no recreational or other activities. No property manager to give you a walk through of the property, you are all on your own.

The place is right in the middle of a coffee estate, and perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Don't expect a resort-like facility, and you won't be disappointed. The staff is polite, and the cook was great. Enjoyed the peaceful stay with some lovely homemade food.

Very nice relaxing experience. One of the top kannada movie mungarumale shooting done here, very neat and clean resort. Chief shashi and pushpakara was really good.

The property is good. A small farm house in between coffee plantation. Rooms are clean and bathroom is nice and clean. The only concern is food. The property didn’t inform about they have only buffet option, which they charge for 750- per pax. Though they have a a-la-carte menu, still randomly they will say, today it’s a buffet day. The manager was rude though. His voice is loud and his not at all hospitable to guests.

Property is good, clean. Rooms are spacious. Food served was delicious. But facilities are not maintained well. Cycles were not in working condition. Carrom was in bad condition with bumpy surface. No proper walkways in coffee plantation so you cannot really walk around.

It is a nice place to stay with your family and friends. Food is quite good. Caretaker pushpak and chef were too good with their service. If u want amenities then please don't come here.

Terrible Stay

The stay was extremely bad, the staff was very rude. While check out i handed over the room key but after an hour they were calling again and again and asking me to check if i had the key. They were very rude and kept saying it is my fault that the key is missing. I explained to them it's their responsibility to take the key hand over. They were just not ready to understand the fact and kept stressing that i had the key. I mean why will the customer take the room key with them after check out. They were so unprofessional. I will never recommend unlock by goldfinch to anybody.

I was looking for a place last minute and luckily found unlock by goldfinch. It was the best experience i could have gotten. The ambience, food, service and location was perfect. If you are looking for a place to meditate or detox or just lay back and relax, this is what you want.

Unlock by goldfinch is a perfect location for one or two days vacation, nothing much explore within the property but rooms are very clean and specious. Food is awesome and staffs are very supportive. Overall we had very nice stay.
