Room quality and service was above average. Environment and ambience was nice. Food quality is ok but costly. Thali are not available. Overall ok.

Overall, the feedback received from panthasala to chandnaswar was not positive. There were significant concerns regarding the room service and bathroom conditions. Additionally, the lack of drinking water provided was a major inconvenience. I would not recommend this otdc hotel to anyone. The breakfast options were also not satisfactory.

Poor room maintenance, corridors are not cleaned, no one was available at the reception while checking in, ac not working properly, unnecessary disturbances during night time, even though location is good.

The room was not properly cleaned. A lot of dust was here and there. The place is very good though. Thise who want get away from the busy work life, can get a refreshing ambience there.

Best location to enjoy Sea of Chandipur

Pantha niswas Chandipur is best located to enjoy the unique sea of Chandipur....you need to visit the sea very frequently to watch the unique feature of retreating sea and it's comeback....it is joy to watch this phenomenon.... Food at Pantha niswas is very good.... infrastructure is not very well maintained but staff are good 👍

One of the best govt guest houses at talsari

If you want to avoid crowds of digha and searching for a secluded place near it, talsari is suited for you. It has very limited options for hotels as a lot of people just visit the beach in the evening. Otdc chandaneswar is the best guest you can find there. Food was delicious. Must try do i begun and chingri malaikari. Staff behaviour is awesome. The room was very clean and spacious if you are booking the suites. Only cons is that you cannot bath in the sea here as subarnarekha river is meeting there and at the low tide sea receded very far. At talsari, sea is also very calm.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

The property location is very good, cleanliness and hygiene is good. But there is low maintenance as well as there is an issue of power cut and during the same we have to take continuous followup with the hotel authority to switch on the genset. Sometime they do. Sometime not. Also breakfast menu is limited. And you have to wait to get the same after several request.
