The room was very spacious and comfortable, although we couldn’t use the jacuzzi since it takes time to fill up and we did not plan well. The service and amenities at the resort were great as well.

Wonderful experience. Courteous staff. Breakfast buffet spread was wonderful. Amenities like private beach and backwaters are an added bonus.

The property is fabulous and is very beautiful. The lagoon facing suite that we booked was also great. There is only one restaurant in the property. The buffet breakfast was very underwhelming and the service is quite slow compared to the number of staff available. It remained heavily when we were there and hence used room service and the food was good. The high tea on offer cannot be called high tea with the offering that was provided. The beach is public property and although not lalit’s responsibility was very dirty with the junk brought by the tide. But if hotel guests are using it the something needs to be done. We didn’t see too many guests. I think the price is high for what is on offer and trying to keep up with the taj place nearby.

Good property if you don’t compare . Rooms are bigger than taj, although the jacuzzi has no warm/hot water provision. The property has very rustic vibes. Food is average but the hospitality is great. Air conditioning could have been better. Nothing much to do on the property itself.

A beautiful sprawling green property with spacious, well decorated, cozy accommodations, facilities and amenities, and very warm heartedly cordial staff to take cake of all needs. The property is located right on the bank of kalanad estuary and the confluence with the sea overlooking beautiful uduma beach connected with an exclusive bamboo bridge right from the property.

I stayed at lalit bekal for one night. Even after communicating with the staff about my late check in (as i was travel-ling for about 6 hours prior check in, the check-in process took around 45 minutes after midnight. It was unexpected from a 5 star rated hotel. The reason for delayed check in could be attributed to the following - the hotel was understaffed at midnight hours. There was one person at the reception who claimed to have overworked and didn’t sleep for 3 days. He was struggling to stay awake let alone give the key card access. The amenities was good, food was average, and the customer service could be improved. I would recommend the management to review the working hours and the well being of the staffs so that they can provide better customer service.

Great! its a great place to have a relaxed vacation. The amenities and services are amazing. The staff is very helpful nd has ensured to provide a comfortable stay in every aspect. Specially want to call out sana, alby, neelima, shaji, ajit, priyaki for all the support. They have all been exceptional in their servies

This place has exceeded our expectations. The location, the nature. It’s a place to meditate and bring calmness in you. We had chosen the backwater view which gave us the picturesque view of lush greenery leading to this beautiful river. You can take a walk along the river heading to this beach, from lush green to clean sandy beach. Hospitality was great besides a few clumsy service (will get there. Highly recommend the spa especially for ayurvedic. With doctor on board you can talk to him and get the right treatment. The restaurant is amazing for regional and north indian dishes but avoid anything that is not indian as it did not taste good at all, like the burger we had tasted like chicken cutlet rather than a minced chicken patty and the breakfast sausage was by far the worst sausage i’ve ever eaten, but all is forgotten when had the regional dishes, which tasted absolutely amazing. Recommend to try koon paalkatti kizhi, blew my mind! coming down to hospitality- a bit of clumsy service, the 2nd night had asked to turn on the jacuzzi and never happened and waiting for it we lost mood. And then we found hairs on the ironing board. But hey all these didn’t bother us as we were lured into this beautiful property and besides would love to give the benefit of doubt, people learn from mistakes. Just a few suggestions from my end- improve the international food;introduce better coffee (i’m a coffee lover;would be great to have the jacuzzi with heating option.

It was really a great to stay at lalit. Must mention about laneesh chef, niloupher and nikhil for extending superb service and to helped us to make our stay memorable. Property was great and staff was helpful too. Kudos to team lalit bekal.

The property was amazing and staff was very courteous. But they were definitely a bit lacking in experienece on the hospitality front. At least when compared to the taj. Property was easily just as good if not better. Most importantly, my biggest complaint is that after putting in thr effort to have a jacuzzi room and a fancy jacuzzi. It seems kind of atupid to not have hot water available to use in it. We really were not able to make the most of that facility even though the room was beautifully made.

Amazing property. Very beautiful, most helpful staff you will ever find. Large spacious rooms with a private jacuzzi and a huge balcony, right on the beach and the backwaters. Decent food but limited bar menu. Most recommended for a solo or family stay. Peaceful and serene
