The hotel had a beautiful and friendly reception area and recreational zone and the staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing and the rooms were spacious and well equipped.

The hotel is very good, good swimming pool, nice surroundings and excellent restaurant. The hospitality at reception was very poor. We booked 2 rooms but disappointed as room were very small, no balcony, no view and they were as if godown. We requested to change room, but asked 12, 000 extra. We enjoyed stay in orchid shillong. Regards

I recently stayed at the polo orchid cherrapunji, and my experience was average. While the hotel's location and views were stunning, there were some areas that fell short of my expectations. Although the rooms were spacious rooms with good amenities, the linens were dirty and the room was stinky. Room maintenance could be improved. Limited dining options, with average food quality. Suggestions 1. Enhance room maintenance and amenities 2. Expand dining options and improve food quality 3. Improve overall cleanliness and hygiene.

I had the most amazing time at the resort! the property was huge and offered so many activities to enjoy. Although some of the amenities listed were not provided, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were generally clean, and the bugs were expected due to the forest location. If you're looking for a scenic getaway in cherapunji and can afford it, this resort is definitely worth considering!

Below average stay as compared to value for money. Cleanliness is a big challenge. Food was average if you compare the prices. I would not suggest people booking for this place as its very expensive but doesnt worth it. I have stayed in guest house which were way better than this and in less than half of the money i spent here. Property is big and has nice views but issue is it is not well maintained.

Perfect location for cherrapunji stay with the seven sisters falls view, however i was not too happy with the food variety specially breakfast. Improvement in food can make it much better. Other amenities like the spa is top-notch, we were very happy the service.

No hot water in the rooms.

The rooms were amazing. The view from the room is to die for. The food and the restaurant is also very good. The only issue i faced was with the hot water. There is was no hot water in the room after complaining multiple times they provided me with buckets of hot water. For the amount of money they are charging at least basic amenities such as hot water should be provided. I was not able to use the bath tub at all because of no hot water being there. Most of my stay was spoiled because of this issue.

The hotel location is prefect, with awesome view, everything is great, have a swimming pool, clean, tidy. Just be careful there whether is very wet, so don't keep any door open at night. And one thing they can really improve is about their network, the location only jio network works well and hotel wifi is terrible.

Had a pleasant stay @ polo orchid. Perfect location - serene & beautiful, overseeing 7 sisters falls. View is stunning. Food is good. Service is exceptional. Only downside is the room size which is very small & looks claustrophobic. Cottages are big sized, but way too expensive. Staffs are very nice & courteous ! overall a good stay!

Excellent property, clean big rooms, breakfast had numerous options for both veg and non veg, service staff was very polite and courteous, special mention to jennisica and rajiv for making our stay comfortable and extra ordinary.

The stay was wonderful. Picturesque location, decor well blended with nature. The room amenities were great. The room lighting and placement of switch/ sockets can be improved a bit. Food was tasty and rightly priced. Staff behaviour was excellent. The live performance was amazing. Kudos to both of them for wonderful singing.

The bedsheets were smelly even the pillow covers. The hair dryer was not working. Even after repeated request no one came to close the water of the pool as a result was not able to enjoy the pool. Rest of the things was ok.

The room shown in the picture is very different from the actual room. The base room is very small to even accommodate a couple. After i requested to change the room, they said they don’t have any room. After i threatened to move out of the property they gave me a room and charged double the amount. Also the suite that they allotted was around 100 metres below the actual property right in the middle of the jungle. Which was quite unsafe in the dark. It was really disappointing.
