Host

The hosts of the property were amazing, welcoming, and always keen to ensure the stay is going well. They are very knowledgeable and truly passionate about sharing information about the area and Kerala culture in general. They made the guests feel like part of their family and went out of their way to help offer suggestions and even invite and take them to temple festivals. They showed great hospitality and kindness in their heart.

Food & Dining

The food served at the property was amazing, delicious, and homely. The breakfast was amazing and gave the guests the possibility to taste real Kerala food freshly made and enjoy seasonal fruits too. The dinner option during the stay was superb and at a great price. The hosts were happy to share with the guests the fruits from their garden. The meals were tasty and the breakfast was good, but it needs improvement.

Cleanliness

The property was spotlessly clean, and the room and bathroom were equipped with power shower and spotless. The room, living, and kitchen were very big and comfortable. The property was very peaceful and lovely with a core Kerala tinge from all sides. The stay was pleasant and neat, but the internet connection was not accessible in the room given to stay.

Location

The property was set in a small quaint village, very quiet, and it’s the ideal spot to get away from the chaos for a few days. The property was in a local quiet town, and guests had a great time walking around. The property was in a very peaceful location, and the owner is an official tour guide with a very good knowledge of the local area and of Kerala. The property was one hour away from Fort Kochi, but if guests want a less touristy beach, then this isn’t a problem.

Staff

The staff of the property was very friendly, helpful, smiley, and careful. They showed great hospitality and made the guests feel part of their family. The staff behavior was excellent, and they given awesome food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The property had AC all the time, which is a must in Kochi, especially in summers.
