Namaskaram very clean with room linen changed every day. The food was very tasty and freshly made. Hotel staff are courteous with smile. Many compliments to them. Next time will definitely stay at monsoon empress.

On check-in, i was told by the receptionist that they are offering me complimentary breakfast. Being skeptical, i asked him again to confirm it. As he confirmed it, i thought of availing it the next morning. After the lousy breakfast, i was shocked when i was handed over a bill of rs. 1300 for two people. When questioned, vineet, the executive, kept insisting that i'm not eligible for complimentary breakfast. Without wasting any more time arguing with him, feeling cheated, i decided to pay the bill and quit the place for ever.

Beautiful five star resort in a very convenient location, very close to lulu mall, oberon mall, grand mall, marine drive and mg road. Staff is very nice, resort is very clean, ample parking space, rooms are beautiful and luxurious with all amenities required for a comfortable stay. We stayed during a period when there was a national conference going on in the city, hence the rate we paid was high. Rest of the days the rates are very reasonable and value for money. Breakfast was good.

Not upto the mark at all. Room services very bad. Quality and quantity of food is also bad. Bath fittings leaking. House keeping is poor. Over all very unsatisfactory.

Staff not professional and room rate charged as high as professional star hotels. Room interior layout also doesn’t have expected professional touch

The check-in was quite smooth and i was upgraded to a suite. The room was very spacious and clean with comfortable furniture. The food is also quite good. The breakfast buffet has a good variety with mostly south indian dishes. Though they have live station, they have keep cold omlettes in the buffet. When you request for a omelette from the live station, they appear to be reluctant to make it fresh. Check-out was a hassle with housekeeping inputting some additional things in the minibar account and kept insisting that it must have been used. This delayed the check-out by 20 minutes. The staff need to be trained in handling such situations.

Nice surprise it was. Nice bar n restaurant. Sumptuous breakfast too. Only trouble was the rain at cochin due to which we could not go around the city… but then monsoons are such. Sit back, relax and enjoy the rain must be the motto.

Staff service was really bad. Room was also not clean and had insects in washroom. Staff was forcing to charge half day amount for even 10 minutes delay in checkout.
