Excellent experience staying at gowrikere homestay. Below i will mention pros and cons of the stay pros 1. Location 2. Spacious rooms 3. Delicious home made food 4. Free coffee 5. Excellent host, who listens to your needs 6. Boon fire 7. Parking space(not covered parking) cons 1. It is at-least 10kms away from city/town and even route is hilly terrain so for emergency especially in the night you will have difficult time to travel to city/town. So come prepared 2. Pillows were hard

Decent stay away from city

The room is not very clean. But the caretaker is polite and food provided is good. Although i booked for 3 days, i had to return home after 1 day due to family emergency. Although i wasn’t expecting any refund, i thought the host would at least consider reducing the food charges. As a guest, i’m disappointed. Location: this place is far from town. ~40km from madikeri. That’s something to consider while booking.

The property is built right opposite to a small lake, the best time to visit is during the monsoons. The light drizzle and rains adds more beauty to the stay. The staff is very courteous and helps with anything you request and food is very tasty and homely.

The surrounding area of the property was very good, peaceful and calm. The room was spacious and comfortable with all modern amenities. The staff was so helpful and cooperative. Cleanliness and facilities were so good. The hostilities were too good. The food was so delicious and hygiene. Must recommend the property to others.

Owner was good and helpful, free parking was there.
Good for couples, only BSNL network will be there, food and breakfast also good.

Our stay was fantastic, and we are deeply grateful to our host Parkway who was able to arrange food suitable for our 2 year old son. The homestay ambience is beautiful and very calm and quiet. I feel a group of more than 10 people can easily find accommodation here and have loads of fun. I will cherish this experience and hope to visit again soon with a more people
