Without a doubt, wenge house is the best homestay at affordable price for any couple/business travelers/friends. We got a complete 2bhk for ourselves (one bedroom is locked as we are only 2 people) with well equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom and workstation! we were very happy about our decision to choose wenge house over the hotel's which are crowded, not so clean and charge exorbitant rates for no reason. We got the privacy, peace and amenities we needed for the stay - it was like home away from home. The host mr. Darshan was kind enough to provide milk, coffee, tea powder as well and was available for support throughout our stay. The host also recommended one of the best restaurants in madikeri, that is thaliya, which serves kodava style food and it was so good that we had dinner both days from thaliya!
