Dhanashree homestay experience was the best. The whole family was very subtle and i enjoyed their food too. Swarnim was like a brother to me, always attending to my queries and sharing information that helped me get an understanding of darjeeling. Will opt for dhanashree again if i visit for the second time. Quick tip- the locational advantages was great too i. E. Dhali fatak.

Excellent services and hospitality provided by swarnil and team! definitely would recommended this place, and is very near to mall road, city center and many other view points and tourist places.

Worst service i ever seen everything was not available in rooms no water, no no wifi, geyser was not working, no food options available, flush was not working at all

Smelling room, basin leaking, geyser not working. There is only one boy who is attendant cum cook, and for all reasons he is only available.

There is no cleaning in room. Dirty bed sheet and no change and clean daily basis. In bathroom no hot water working properly. 😒 no cooperative staff.

I found it on Make My Trip app! This is situated in a very good location. Dhanasree Homestay provided healthy breakfast and another meal.

The host was quite cooperative. Food was nice and affordable as well but the rooms are below average.

Not a good experience in this budget homestay

It is a budget home stay which lacked many basic things. I am listing below the things that did not work 1. Room was not clean, bedding/quilt were not tidy and clean. Towel given was dirty. 2. Room was missing trash bin 3. Broken cup-board (one door was broken) 4. Bathroom was not clean 5. Toilet seat had come out 6. Lighting of bathroom was poor, we had come inside bathroom and switch on a temporary light 7. On last day water was not coming which caused a lot of problems before check-out in early morning. We had to check-out without taking bath. 8. The entrance/kitchen/walkway everything was dirty, i did not find any house keepers except a cook in kitchen. Good things are very few, hot water geyser, wifi, home stay is next to main road. Share taxis available outside the building to get dropped at market. Near to 2 walk-able sightseeing spots. Dalai monastery and peace pagoda. It is also far from market(mall road. After 6 you won't get share taxis from market.

Overall the ambience was good. The hotel is short with staff so a trifle of patience would be beneficiary. The atmosphere is chilled thus it would be a good time with friends.

Great place to live in darjeeling, good views, good food, good location and with proper cleanliness. The host mr. Swarnim is good polite and humble. The stuffs of this hotel are awesome specially mrs. Sapna and sara.

1)although darjeeling has chilled ambience, high end rooms must have ceiling fan. This is required to dry wet clothes. 2) bed heater was not working. 3) many times, water supply was disrupted. Also water passing through geyser was dirty. Black foreign substances were floating. Behaviour of crew members are good and helpful.
