It was an amazing experience to stay over there. Bed including rooms were very clean. Washroom was also clean. No disturbance during stay. Only one drawback is the hotel is situated in little high road. There was no facility to reach the hotel in vehicle.

The room is small not very big. The light in the room was not working and there was no tv connection in the room. We checked in 20 mins earlier and when complained about above mentioned issues as well as water clogging in the basin the manager was very rude saying you have checked in earlier so these issues are there. The hotel is far from mall road and the road is steep so it is not suitable with elderly persons or parents. The only good thing about the hotel is the receptionist.

The location wasn't very far from mall road, but the extremely steep 100 meter made it extremely difficult to access. But the main dampener in our stay was the rooms. In the first allotted room, there was no water coming after complaining several times and waiting a while, the manager ch-aged the room. In the changed room, the walls and the ceiling was totally damp and water was dripping from the ceiling, thus extremely cold. When we had asked for a room heater they told that it is chargeable. The views from most of the rooms' windows are of broken and dirty buildings, garbage, so we kept the curtains on all the time. There are no sunlight in the rooms at all and thus the rooms are extremely cold. There are fungus on the furniture and walls everywhere. We tried to minimize our time in the rooms and walked around outside for most of our stay and came back only at night to sleep, since we had already paid and it was non-refundable. The rooms' photos don't reveal the true picture at all. The stay in this hotel had spoiled our trip. I don't recommend at all. Also, the room charges were quite high. This is the worst hotel stay till now in my experience. I have attached the photos of the dripping ceiling here with the review.

Sahil is very good guy. Very good service provided by him. Helped us for rental bike, early check in etc. All over my experience at hotel was very good. Thank you sahil providing good and hygienic stay.

They have all properties in same vicinity but really unmanaged. None of them have proper facilities. Nor intercom or kitchen even. Receptionist at muscatel roma is doing everything singlehandedly they do not have staff. Same way in other properties. Century old furniture with broken nobs and door. Beds that are years old. No proper hygein followed. Very bad experience they have only pne kitchen in hinalaya and everywhere they sending breakfast from there in roma bhumsang fairmount. Only good thing was it was walking distance to the mall road that is it

Good experience. The staffs are good and cooperative. The way to the hotel is a bit steep but the walk is worth it. The food is also good.

the bed was comfortable but there was a problem with the sink and also the hot water got over pretty soon each and every time i took a bath which was annoying. otherwise everything else was okay 👍

Amenities were not provided. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and despite multiple complaints, the hotel staff did nothing. At a temperature of 11°C, I had to take a shower with cold water. Additionally, no food was available at the hotel after 9:30 PM. Since I checked in after 9:30 PM, I couldn’t have any food on the first night of my stay. It was the worst experience.

The stay was really good. The rooms were clean, bed heater was also provided. But the location was not suitable for aged people or people who have health problems. No shops nearby you need to climb down the steep hill if you need anything.

Worst hotel in darjeeling

It is the most worst hotel in darjeeling. The entrance gate is very high path from main road. If someone planning to come with old age parents and kids better to do not stay here. Even so service boy available to collect luggage. Very casual and misbehaved staff and reception lady is also misbehaving.

The rooms were terrible, with no lift and uphill climb without any vehicle was difficult. When i complained about the room they shifted us to another hotel with the same franchise. There the room was ok type.
