Rooms are Good. Food is OK. Near Darjeeling Market. But Car Parking is NOT available. You have to pay an extra ₹400 for it.

It’s located in a quiet area away from the traffic one usually sees in crowded hill stations. Its also in a way in the heart of darjeeling as one can just walk over to the mall road and shop around

Location is non friendly to elderly people, no hot water in the morning, difficult to use/open toiletries like sampoo etc. Food is good breakfast, dinner many items are not available. The helpers are very friendly, the movie posters on the floors are the best liked by us!

Great view from the hotel room, great location as very near to mall road, friendly staff. They even helped to get a shared taxi. Overall a nice experience. The only issue was the steep lane which was difficult for my elderly mother. However they provided a hotel cab for that steep lane from next day.

Property is well located near mall. The ambiance is good. The hotel is well maintained and neat and clean. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Restaurant serves excellent food and they often customize the menu for us. We came here in the month of july- an off season visitor. We were the sole guests for a couple of days. But what surprised me most the hotel did not change anything in that period also. They continued with sumptuous breakfast with varieties of items, daily cleaning of the room along with change of bed sheets and towels. They also provided us 24x7 room service.

Nice and well maintained hotel. Spacious rooms. Room got upgraded which was a surprise. The staff is courteous and always smiling. They are very responsive and always ready to help in any manner they can. Swaraj needs to be mentioned here, although it is not his job - he went out of his way to help us plan our tour - which places to visit, dates, clubbing of visiting places on each day, helping with cab booking etc, food is tasty. The only thing that can be improved is the variety of food options on the menu

It was splendid to spend 3 nights at this reputed age old place. We have stayed with our two children. The suite room (Burra Sahib) was really big and spacious. Kid's play zone was the best place to them. Ambience was nice and cool. Food was delicious and so the behavior of the staffs. Although it's little bit costly but worthy of money. 👍🏻

The hotel's address indicates it's on Mall Road, but they omit mentioning it's situated on a steep slope. I managed to walk down, but returning required a 600rs taxi fare. The room switches were inconveniently placed under the bed, causing frustration every time I needed to use them. Additionally, the view overlooked an under-construction building, despite my request for a better view. No parking as well.

The hotel is centrally located in the city of darjeeling with a great british era wooden interior. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary ingredients. Staff was very friendly and ensured smooth checkin. We were tired due to extreme traffic conditions and the reception team ensured we didn't take more than couple of minutes to complete the formalities. Complimentary breakfast was great and had good spread. Overall we had short but nice and cost stay. If i come again i would like to stay for longer duration and would recommend people to book their stay.

Location is very close to mall road and all restaurants, shops, attractions are within walking distance. Hotel breakfast is very good, only suggestion is to start breakfast service a little early. Room amenities are very well and services are excellent. Reception is very warm and welcoming.

The location is not good considering the steep climb way to the hotel. Every time u go to market or mall the way up walk is v tough. Everyone gasps. The included lunch or dinner with booking doesn’t serve all type of dishes. Prawn, mutton are not given. No sweet dish except gulab jamun. No outdoor place or garden or swimming pool. Sinclairs hotels at other places are far better. The room services are also not up to the mark. There is also no proper bar or lounge. However the staffs are v helpful n courteous.

Property is situated at nice place with mall road, dhar station nearby. The only challenge is it’s steep climb to reach property with narrow lane for which they have kept shuttle. Break fast is very good but other than that food is below average. Hotel have most amenities as required including kids play area. Staff is very cordial and helpful with very good service.

Reasons not to choose sinclairs darjeeling: we chose sinclairs due to the brand name. Sharing our experience: 1. Very steep location, every-time you go out to mall road or nearby you need to climb a very steep hill. Not suitable for elderly people and even people who can't walk much. 2. No dryer, dental kit, slippers were available in our room. When charging for one night, these are basic. 3. Staff is good and friendly. 4. The rooms are average in darjeeling sinclairs unless you take one with balcony view. 5. Car service/parking : no space for it.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
