Hotel facilities and the hotel rooms are not 4 star level. The price is way expensive but no facilities is good bathroom door lock is broken, no views no storage space very small and congested rooms

The hotel location is great for kanchenjunga viewing. The staff are also very courteous & trying to offer help. But the property itself is not maintained. The bathroom toilet leaked, constantly smelling of urine. Most plug points didnot work. We were not given the room we booked. I paid premium price just to have a kanchenjunga view from inside the bedroom. The room was allotted to someone else. On calling makemytrip the staff agreed to give a discount on the food bill. Another con is it is very far from the mall. Pick up & drop off is charged at rs 800 per trip. The food preparation is good but the prices are exorbitant. It was once a heritage property but it is sadly no longer so.

Hotel was really good, the view and ambience of the hotel was excellent also the service was exceptional, they were really helpfull. Just little bit renovation in rooms are required as floor has some sound while walking on it the flooring should be repaired.

My experience was very delightful for staying and the service was too good.i will suggest to everyone staying once at a time just because it's too beautiful from this hotel to see Mt Kanchanjungha.Mr.Vivek and Ms Saraswati are excellent and both are very well behaved,polite and they take care in an excellent manner.overall hospitality was too good.💯

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. It’s located far from the main mall road, and you have to take a taxi each time, which costs around 800 for a round trip. This adds unnecessary expenses. The breakfast was below average, with limited options and poor quality. To make matters worse, the cleanliness was terrible—I even found a spider making a web in my room. Overall, the stay was not at all worth the cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good experience.

Room 104 was rather small for a family of four, making the stay a bit cramped. The hotel’s location is quite far from the Mall, which might explain why the food prices were exorbitant— Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant was disappointing as well; the staff, particularly one lady, was unhelpful and dismissive, barely responding to our requests. On a positive note, the view of Kanchenjunga was truly outstanding, offering a breathtaking sight.

It was a good overall experience. The property has a good view, the staff is warm, caring and receptive to needs and feedback of the guests. However, the rooms need refurbishing- the wooden floors are creaking, door locks aren't working and there is a misty stench in the room and linen. Food is decent and they address the need for jain food. It is always made fresh and served.

Location was good, cleanness was fine, hotel internet was very poor and spa was not available. You have to spend rs. 800 for taxi to reach meal up/ down

Horrible lodge type 1-star hotel

Location & approach road was horrible. Even hotel parse was hardly a one star or max two star lodge type. For a family overall ambiance & location was not looking safe. After my resistance to stay there, i will as transferred to summit oakden, that was again was a lodge kind (not a hotel. The location was reasonably good. But the hotel was pathetic. Breakfast was so horrible that i was as unable to take corn flakes and one uncut fruit. Last day they have shifted me to a manually jointed single bed with uncomfortable twice mattresses with painful sleep. I will never recommend any family person to opt for any of these so called cheap hotel.

The entire view is good, room is also neat and clean, but the basic problem is the restaurant staff did not attend the calls for room service. Another problem is you must pay 500 rs for a taxi from darjeeling bus stand to reach the hotel

The overall experience at the hotel was good. The mountain view from the room was awesome. The food was tasty. The location of the property is a bit challenge. The property is old but provide a different and nice experience.

The property is very old, what pictures shows is actually not there. It’s a very badly maintained property. Rooms are very small and stingy. Though they upgraded my room but still whole property was having a typical bad smell.
