We have booked two room. One is fine but the other one was horrible. Washroom’s door is broken. No hotwater from basin and tap. Toilet flush not working. Have to use bucket to flush. Pathetic service

The stay at this hotel was disappointing. Pros: • Great location with mountain views. • Helpful and courteous staff. Cons: • The "premium room" was far from premium—poorly maintained, stained linens, a tiny bathroom with non-functional amenities, and no towels upon check-in. • We were given a lower-level room with an obstructed view and no privacy. Overall, the hotel is overpriced for its condition. There are better options in the same area and price range. Not worth it.

Excellent stay, superb view of kanchenjunga from room. Great breakfast with lot of variety. Superb location, just 10 minutes walk from mall and in a peaceful and pleasant site.

The stay was average. The accommodation cost was somewhat on the higher side as compared to aesthetics and location of the hotel. Since i booked the best room of the hotel, and it was an average looking room, i can assume how the other rooms would be. Other services were good.

Not a 4 star hotel property. We were given a room in the basement with no ventilation. Yes it was a room without a view but that does not mean that you keep it in a basement. Room too was very small and bathroom was too cramped to even use it. To make it worse, bathroom was two stairs up the room level. Star hotels don't have bathrooms like this. Staff was polite but not much concerned about our discomfort.

First of all i want to say that mm t & hotels must clarify mountain view or non view room. If it's non mountain view room that must be clearly mentioned during booking. In the case of a non view room there should be a window for minimum ventilation. Non view doesn't mean a non window room. Overall experience is good however rooms seemed to me as overpriced. Food quality was very good but price was ridiculously high

1. Food worst bathroom condition was also bad hot water not coming properly very small bathroom looming just like lodge kindly suggest no one tourist other wise your reputation will be bad nothing was good

Summit oak-den resort is located at the hilltop, 1 km from mall road. Please note there are no vehicles that go directly to the resort as the road is a vehicle free zone. The cab pick up and drop off point is 200m away from the resort. It's not a big resort but the staff is extremely friendly and cooperative. The food is really tasty. There is no buffet for lunch or dinner, they will give a set menu if anyone takes the package. The chicken dishes are worth a try. If you can try to get up early and enjoy the walk outside the resort. You can take a 1km loop through mall road. We have taken deluxe room with no view. The rooms are ok but not worth the money charged. The sheets were stained and even after requesting they did not change the covers. Overall the stay was good but not quite advisable for elderly people with mobility issues as the road is quite steep

On a clear day, you can get excellent view of kanchanjagha from the room and terrace. Also the viewpoint is just a min walk outside the hotel. Cars not allowed on the road due to security reason, while its bit of pain when you are with luggage, it makes a pleasant and peaceful stroll when you are baggage free.

Location of the hotel is excellent, just next to observatory view point at mall road. Observatory view point is just superb to look at kanchanjangha from sunrise to sunset. L could see same view from the bed in room no 102, mountain view room. Housekeeping, restaurant, room service, cleanliness and front desk all are excellent. Breakfast layout is awesome. I would love to recommend this hotel for comfortable stay just adjacent to mall road.

Our stay was a very pleasant experience and it gave us a homely feeling with all sort of amenities and never felt any inconvenience on any aspect. Moreover the rooms are well furnished and very neat and clean and offered very nice view of kanchenjunga and mountain valley through windows. Food qualities were mind blowing. All staffs including dining staffs, managers and front office executives are very cooperative and helped in all situations. I always look first for summit group of hotels if found in the places we plan to visit.
