The property with the best view. We had booked pearl white room and trust me, the room view is better than those of 5 star properties.

I don’t find this hotel very appealing. No window view in my room. Some sort of smell in room. No proper service. Food was not that good. Some of dishes mentioned as local dishes but not available. Overall one can look for another option instead of this hotel

Unfortunately we couldn't stay as we had to return to siliguri in hurry, as multiple landslides were happening in sikkim, we have to return from mangshila in the way to lachung, and again while we were returning again road closed for 7 hours at the sikkim-west bengal border, so we had to call makemytrip for refund. Thankfully mr. Shailesh, general manager called us from his side and asked us to call mm t for refund mail, which he will approve from hotel side and, we hope mm t will as-lo help me out in this situation. Let's see what happens, will update on this. And if everything goes well, we will again stay in hotel sungava in our nova-24 trip to sikkim

Pleasant stay. Nice rooms. Take a room with outside view.Well maintained. Staff are well mannered. Food is also nice. If possible book with food. Enjoy the leasure luxury time.

My worst ever hotel ( sungava ) the arrogant manager( the fat man

The check in experience was worst till date. Although the resort was good but the manager ( the fat man ) at the reception was very arrogant and egoistic. At first he denied our booking but somehow he accepted very rudely.

Although our room was mountain view but we were given room ant shady corner of the hotel with no view. After request they shifted us to room near garden. The bathroom were not clean no basic toiletry no cleaniness no help from staff. Veg main course was too spicy to eat.

Other hotels once, sungava time and again.

Location wise the property is good. I took a local taxi from mg marg and it costs me only rs 30 per head. Food is good too but the options are really less. Staff is helpful. Got hot water all the time. Overall it's good.

The property was ok, but the staff support and service was extremely poor. There was no fooding and the kitchen was non functional, they were unable to provide food to elders' as well as kid on time. With repeated requests. Over all a very bad experience

One of the best place in gangtok. Had awesome room. Geyser was on. Everything was awesome. The owner is the gentleman in today's era. We always look forward for visiting sungava again.
