Location is very bad, dark on the way to hotel, bad smell in room and wash room, food is expensive, less illumination in room, room lock is working, curtains could not be closed completely, mobile charger electric socket was not working.

I have canceled my booking on 22nd november. But not get any refund. While i have booked hotel with cancellation policy.

Multiple problems: 1. Room gate and bathroom gate is extremely dirty. 2. Washroom seat is extremely uncomfortable. 3. Breakfast service is extremely bad. They assist as if they are doing a favour to us. 4. Room being charged is similar to rooms of some low charge. 5. Toilets are very dirty. 6. Curtains are very dirty. 7. Restaurant seating is not comfortable.

This hotel is like a dormitory of lodge. There are no any service. Management and their staff is very poor in service. They are not stay for your service they have lots of excuse. If you will order something to bring. They will not done on time. After all very poor service, rooms, cleaness.

The stay was like all summit hotels. Good in Budget Options. The Location of summit is a little tiring to reach. It’s a trek so I would not recommend it for older people. It’s near MG marg, the heart of gangtok, and view is good from the room. Good Food. Worth the Money.

The room and washroom were average. House keeping services were poor. The property has 2 buildings and the older one in which we were there requires major renovation work. 2 days water supply w as not there. Also breakfast was very average. They are highly under staffed. May be they were not ready for the peak season. Although location was good. Ample parking space.

The property was very normal, services was not satisfactory, even location is not good far from the main road and down in the valley. Overall cost is so high, however services & property build quality is very low. If i talk about it should not be more than 3000 rs. Food quality also worst. Don't confuse from photos

It’s told to be located near mg road but it’s situated on a steep climb. Rooms seem to be old but costing as high as new. Overall 3/5

It was not like how it was shown in the picture we booked for deluxe room it was worst but the staff were good they arranged car for us

It was nothing short of an absolute nightmare! If there was a way to give a negative review we would have. This hotel doesn’t deserve even 1/10. To start with, it’s nowhere close to what it claims to be and please do not get swayed by the reviews across forums, its very misleading and possibly not genuine. Few issues to start with: 1. No air conditioning, which is understandable in Gangtok, but there is not even a ceiling fan, there’s just a lousy standing fan (barely in order) provided and it will be treated as a favour 2. You would be left debating with the management here on an extra fan which fell under deaf ears during the first two days of our stay: we had 2 rooms, a family room of 3 adults where 3 adults where left uncomfortable and underventilated in a room which is not even expected in a budget motel 3. Attitude of the managers: Undertrained, lack customer centricity and basic empathy, our complaints about basic ventilation and a working standing fan in 2 rooms for which we paid almost 18K per night fell to deaf ears and the night manager on 7th of June trested it as a regular issue and the answer provided was that nothing can be done and refused ti even come to the room and meet us to resolve the issue. After repeated complaints and even talking to the central escalation desk, we had to walk to the reception and he finally half heartedly agreed to provide a cooler which is not enough for even 10% of the room, absolute lack of empathy and basic training 4. The food is pathetic to say the least, please do not opt for breakfast, lunch or dinner here, it’s tasteless and substandard, we were forced to have almost all our meals at MG Marg due to this 5. The breakfast menu is monotonous and substandard again, low budget motels have better breakfast, i would not pay even 1K for these rooms per night and ended up paying 8K for 1 room 6. On the third and final day of our stay the hotel manager met us and tried to somehow remedy the issue after repeated mails and escalations to the central team however all he coild provide was an extra standing fan in one of our rooms, our fan in the so called Kanchenjenga suite remained broken and kept rotating without being stagnant at one place which was the core issue and not resolved throughout 72 hours 7. Do not get fooled by the photographs provided on MakeMyTrip or other forums, they are misleading and the quality and maintenance of the rooms is exceptionally substandard 8. The geyser in the rooms have only 1 min of hot water and are not sufficient for even 1 person to have a comfortable shower 9. The staff are untrained and unsuitable for the claims made by the hotel on various forums In summary, taking this time out to write this review so no other family has to go through this ordeal again, please avoid Summit Namnang and possibly Summit group at ALL COSTS.

Except play area and food quality. Hotel was good. Service is very good and cooperative. After eating here for more than 10 days since last year. One definitely can say that they shud change the cook. Bcoz he cannot cook even one dish properly. Even after taking 30 minutes to prepare any food including tea

The location is very inconvenient as its deep down a steep broken road from where its impossible to walk to mg marg. So every-time when u need to go mg marg u have to ask for private cabs. Food and services are also not up to the mark.

We had a medical reason and we requested for amendment to a different date or cancellation. We tried directly as well as through make my trip but for no reason the property was adamant. Should be customer friendly for genuine reasons but they just denied. Will never suggest summit group to anyone better to stay away from unfriendly associations.

Nice place to stay, very near to mg marg when you say an open property with view. Gm amit saxena is courteous and helpful. Pols stay in new building by booking premium room or above category. Breakfast options were good. It was value for money seeing season time. Still scope for improvement.
