Avoid Novotel Hyderabad Airport – Overpriced & Disappointing Experience

While the reception area at Novotel Hyderabad Airport creates a flashy first impression, everything quickly goes downhill once you enter the rooms. The utter disappointment sets in with the small, outdated rooms, especially the washrooms, which are fitted with old tiles, worn-out amenities, and cramped shower cubicles. The room had smelly, aged wooden flooring and dirty beds and floors that had to be entirely replaced for me to tolerate a single night’s stay. Additionally, the shower door lock was broken, making it an overall unkempt and poorly maintained space. The dining experience was equally dismal. Despite having a MAP package with dinner and breakfast included, the buffet items were cold and tasteless. When I expressed my concerns to the staff, they dismissed it, saying, “Buffet me toh aisa hi hota hai. Fresh chahie toh 25 minute wait kro.” Eventually, I was served reheated items, which further soured the experience. The duty manager did intervene to provide a better dinner, but the next morning, breakfast was another repeat of cold, tasteless food that was simply reheated instead of freshly made. Even the gym failed to meet expectations, with old, smelly rubber and poorly maintained facilities despite decent equipment. The common washroom was also smelly, adding to the feeling that maintenance and hygiene are not priorities at this property. At Novotel, you’re essentially paying for the convenience of the location and nothing else. With a hefty price, I received services and amenities comparable to a 3-star hotel worth INR 6,000–8,000. I strongly recommend seeking alternative accommodation within the city for a much better experience and value for money.

Had great experience, they provided us with an early checkin as we requested. The lunch/dinner rates doesn't seems to be justified else everything was great.

Getting room took time. Room was not ready for family for 4 people. Plus the room key was causing issue with power.

Company credit card was used at time of check out but still now not received details for which it was used. 3 email reminders sent to hotel but no response yet!
