We recently had a 3 day stay at sterling kodai by the lake resort. It was really a nice and excellent experience. We had a really warm welcome at the resort mainly by miss sasirekha, miss saniya, miss prabhu miss koyel and miss tiyasha. Stay was excellent. Room service was also exemplary especially mr venu. Restaurant provided wide variety of dishes which were delicious. We highly recommend this resort especially for family to have a hassle free stay in kodaikanal. Thank you so much team sterling.

Location is not on the lake but slightly away from it. Property is excellent. Services are very good. Food also very good.

Amazing place to stay. The rooms were maintained well. Check in procedures were fast. Buffet breakfast needs a change. Not all dishes were good. They need to change this.

Everything was perfect apart from in room dining experience. The services didnt justify the standard of the hotel. They dont send cutlery with orders and when requested they send take away plates. Which doesnt justify the hotel standards. They come and approach directly asking for tip although without intimation they levy 10% service charge on all food bills. Thats not fair

The property is extremely amazing. Sasirekha was an amazing host, extremely humble and had a lovely service, very friendly supporting staffs. Will definitely come again.

We were not given the room which we had booked. Had to stay in another small room for a night and then were given the room booked, the next day. So 1 day room expenses wasted. My loss. The hot water in the small room was not coming properly. The staff was very very slow. Had to call 2-3 times for each thing to be done. Asked for room slippers, must have called 5-6 times. Did not receive till end. The food is pathetic. Would not advise anyone to book with lunch/dinner. Please eat outside. The manager is very arrogant. Thiru, the chef is soft to talk to. The overall experience was not good at all. Would not recommend anyone to stay at sterling kodai lake. Trust me. I would like to ask for refund. But that would not be possible with you all. Hence not wasting my time and energy.

At the very beginning the receptionist mr karthik was very rude in behavior the property is just maintained with just cosmetic changes there was fungus growing on the bathroom walls food was average.

we recently stayed at sterling kodai and, unfortunately, felt the experience did not meet expectations for the price. the room was quite small, appeared dated, and overall seemed overpriced. we opted for the breakfast and dinner package, but were disappointed by the dinner buffet—especially the non-veg items, which lacked flavor. while the soup and paneer were tasty, the desserts were below average; the donuts were hard, the cakes overly sweet, and the payasam was just okay. we feel there’s room for improvement to better align with the rates charged.

I was in executive suite, water heater was not working, was not repaired and even i was not shifted to other unit so i can have hot bath. I had to take cold shower. Refrigerator was also not working. Complained many times but nothing happened. I stayed for two nights, three days. Bf and dinner was nice

Stay was ok and indulge suit was good. However thoroughly disappointed with the restaurant and the food they served. With the kind of charges we paid for both stay and food, expected a better service, spread and taste ! however restaurant manager was good and was trying to help us in available ways. Hope they realise it and make the restaurant and food taste better in the future

It was an excellent stay at sterling kodai lake resort. We had a welcoming call from tyasha and the from security to assistance from amit and his colleague was just superb. Beautiful room, location, cleanliness, hygiene along with sumptuous food. Special mention about chef vishal and chef asian who cooked special dishes on personal request. All chefs are so polite and courteous, they personally gave attention to each of the guests. The best part is that we have chef from most of the states, so we have chef nitesh who cooks north indian, chef baikunth and chef sahil are expert in other form of dishes and the main chef thiru is super awesome. A must visit place, to have a gala time. Best - abhishek
