First things first staff is not welcoming. Shower wasn't working, washroom door has some issue, beds were making noise. Lift doesn't work n the hostel is on 14th floor. It was a mistake to stay there anyway

Very good place and everyone was so helpful. I came kolkata for my biometrics in america embassy. They where very helpful for explaining about the different embassies out there and also helped me to know how to get there easily. The room's where very good. The only problem was the lift. We have only one lift for the entire 14level building and its so old so very slow also. Other than that it was a very good experience.

This property has a lot of potential. It’s on 14th floor so the views are amazing, raju bhaiya is very humble and generous. The lift stops working every now and then and it’s on 14th floor. I was there for two days and the lift stopped working twice for hours long. I literally had to carry my 20kg suitcase down the 14 floors. The rooms are dingy and old and the paint is wearing off everywhere.

Terrible sta

I stayed at bombay backpackers for 2 days and for the second time. I had previously stayed in december 2022 for 7-8 days, and i must say the quality of stay has significantly downgraded. There is no cleanliness at all, linens do not look washed, washroom fittings are barely hanging and can come out any moment. All the used toiletries left in the washroom by previous travellers are still there. The kitchen is very dirty. And even though smoking is not allowed, people were openly smoking in the balcony, and i had to tell them a few times to close the door. Based on my previous pleasant experience, i had decided to stay this time as well, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The only pros were the friendly staff and the location of the hostel.

The location was good but the condition of premises is not upto mark. The toilets. Bedsheets/pillow covers dirty & unhygienic. The care taker behaviour is very pathetic. As i booked for 2 days. As your policy says no refund of money. So i had to stay somehow & adjusted myself. First of all change the hotel profile pictures first. They are not the current scenario one. When we reach the property with lots of hope but alas we are in soup after reaching the spot. You are just taking care of the business part but not customers satisfaction, hospitality nor hygiene. Go & check the operties you had tied up & review whether i am right or wrong. Thank you so much. Correct me if i am wrong. Have a good day.

The accommodation is not good as seen in the photos. And the staff behavior is not good, as they are asking to leave before the leaving time only. It is located in the 14th floor and the loft facility is also not good. Overall it is pretty worst experience for me
