Mannerless staff at the reception

During check-out the receptionist forced us to wait until the room boy fetched the used bedsheet and showed it in front of all to examine if it is ok. What kind of manner is this! this is an utter humiliation. Secondly, the check-out time. It is 12 pm as per mmt. But, they forced us to check out at 11 am. When we showed the check-out time in makemytrip app, they just flouted it. Hello mmt, can we really rely on you?

3. Rooms are very small, behaviour of the manager is rude, there were no toilet papers in the rooms even after request, linens were dirty.

Hotel is worth to book a stay if you're not looking for a big room. It lacks only in a few things: 1. Lift not available and stairs are steep 2. Restaurant menu is based on Bengali and Non veg items as it doesn't consist much options for North Indian or South Indians 3. Reception person looks very serious which is not a major issue as he's having somewhat neutral behaviour and doesn't react easily Rest other things are good for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Terrible Stay

The stay is pathetic, stayed for 3 nights but house keeping not done even after requesting, no kitchen so depend on outside vendors for any requirement. Pathetic condition of entrance as sewers flow on road and you have to walk on it to enter….not recommended for stay….Bad.

I want to inform you that it's the worst hotel of kolkata because they don't know how to behave with there customer. I have paid for three adults and they provide me one double bed room. Very poor quality room, bathroom and dirty bed sheet and pillow. Please don't go for the hotel that i request everyone. Terrible experience in stay at hotel margaret, kolkata. I have booked and paid for three adults room and the hotel two adults room and refused to support for the issue.

Rooms are ok but poor service. Construction going on. No lift and steep staircase. Drainage water is spilling all over in main entrance itself. Staff are not trained or polite.

The stay was comfortable. Staffs behaviour was polite and co-operative. Easy to reach because of lesser distance from the metro station. Meals provided from "adi bangla" was definitely delicious. Overall a pleasant stay.

Experience of my stay at margaret hotel from 9. 12. 22 to 11. 12. 22

I with my family checked in hotel at evening of 9. 12. 22 with prior information to the hotel that we shall reach hotel at evening hours. Despite my previous communication the hotelier didn't keep my room ready therefore i had to adjust in a small room which too stuffy. No one comes for room cleaning and there's no provision for dining and room service of food. There is unnecessary hassle during our stay at the hotel. There air conditioning machine was not functioning properly. There was no availability of sports channels during this season of world cup football matches. The boarders have to fight for the channels to watch football matches. My experience is horrific. During checked in the hotel staff told me that i have no booking though i have paid entire hotel tariff in advance through net banking. Despite showing the receipt sent by mmt they were harassing us.
