The hotel is poorly managed and understaffed. It used to be good, but now it's sad reminder of the glorious past. Fixtures in the room don't work properly. Air conditioning doesn't work. They don't have their own restaurant and get food from outside. Only plus are rooms are good. Not value for money.

There are two sides of hotel, one part facing sea beach another main part completely packed, very poor ventilation. Ac at midnight become off. Poor infrastructure. Restaurant serve only breakfast. Staff are good. I get nothing from this hotel except one closed room with window you can't open due to dirt. No intercom system to call or connect. You have to call directly with reception

Average rooms, slightly below par location. Food is not good. Try avoiding food from the restaurant if you can. Location - difficult to find the hotel if you can't read malayalam.

Warm welcome by the management. Very polite behavior with customers. Room is good and the amenities are also nice. Being very near to the beach, we enjoyed a lot. Over all nice experience.

The rooms are not good. There is no restaurent. There is no hot water facility i the bathroom. There was insect in the bed. Bathrooms are very small. Water was licking from toilet zet. There is no proper room service. No intercom facility

I booked a sea view room, although it is sea facing room but the view is blocked because of trees but 4th floor has little sea view. Staff is really helpful, polite and provide service 24hr. There's no lunch and dinner at this place but there are lot of options nearby and outside food is allowed inside.

This is a substandard hotel, mm t should look into audit mechanism how this hotel given a 3 star category of a 1 star hotel. There is only 3 staffs in the hotel, no restaurent available in the hotel. They provide food from outside dhaba. Worst experience, must think twice before booking this hotel.

1. There was no manager, only some poor overworked supervisors. Literally no one was available at reception any time as they were running some errands. 2. No proper house keeping. One boy running around doing all chores. 3. Dirty sheets, bad smell, toilet pot not fixed, hot water is irregular. 4. Food is ok only that one would find at a small roadside hotel. For the price they charge it was poor. 5. Staff is really trying but without enough employees, they all are overworked. 6. Management is horrible. They don't even seem to care. Especially during peak season they ought to have someone available.

Very bad experience. It is not at all a hotel. It is a house which has been converted to a hotel. It has very poor lighting and looks like a horror movie hotel. Breakfast is limited to juice, idli and poorly made paratha, that's it. The room seems to be very old one with no proper lighting and curtains smelling badly. The reception staff was very cooperative but the property is very very bad.

Stay at kovalam hotel is not good, hotel atom-sphere is not good, poor illumination inside hotel, not good tv, not good bathroom, also hotel restaurant was dirty and having water leakages in restaurant. Not good hotel to stay with family. Also not having proper room service, also having moister in all room, also coffee and tea pouch also having moister

We booked beach view turtle balcony toom, view was great from the room, food is also ghod, less-oily, homemade food kinda taste. Also the great thing is beach is just 1 min walkable fistance only

Bathroom fittings all needed repairs. Leaky taps, broken bath tubs, wifi connection wasn't usable, doors weren't lockable, no spa facilities. View wasn't good enough. Staff behaviour was perfect. Breakfast was hearty

the place had extremely small rooms, not so good food, the place is highly overpriced as compared to facility provided. staff was courteous but no parking was there despite being mentioned. rooms had ant, bathroom was so small that one person cannot even stand properly.

The service was not good and staff was also not that courteous or at least willing to do better. Breakfast was just bread and tea which shall be improved. Hotel has good location but without service hospitality is nothing

Pros: 1. We were allowed to check in early without any extra cost as the room was ready, so that's a huge plus. 2. Ambience was great. 3. Rooms were clean and spacious enough to install another bed. 4. The bathroom was attractive with a bathtub, with attached small dressing room. 5. Beach was just 70m away. Neutrals: The room we stayed in had a partial beach view because of trees. We could hear the roar of sea waves but couldn't see properly. Cons: Lift was under maintenance, but I won't reduce points for that as we enjoyed the crafts and showpieces on our way up.

Location of Hotel was good, near to Beach. Rooms were small for family and bathroom was very congested. There was no restaurant for lunch and dinner, but they provide breakfast.

It is located just on the Kovalam Beach. The beach is only visible from the sea view type of rooms. It is spacious though do not have a working restaurant. Overall good experience.
