Drive in. Best hotel close to kovalam beach and light house. Beautiful view of the sea and beach. Hotel owner and staff were very friendly and cooperative.

Deluxe ac room was not same as it is seen in pics over mmt. There was extra bed in room. Walls were not painted. Food was average. Fewer options for vegetarians.

The hotel is horrible in terms of property location, food is pathetic in the breakfast hardly some spreads, the staff is too rude, specially the male young guy at the reception, i went with my mom and still knowing her age and all they gave a basement room were on there are steps to go down the property has three catergories of rooms and except the premium one the other two category which is standard ac and super deluxe with balcony have horrible view not worth the price at all, i stayed in delux room with balcony, they claim lot of things on mm t for this category of room like mini fridge and all nothing is there at the property even the beach is very far whatever mentioned don’t believe them

Very comfortable stay. Room was spacious, housekeeping was up to the mark, staff was helpful. In-house restaurant was available with good food options.

Had a horrible time check ing due to hotels incompetency and they were rude and unapologetic about it. Very poor on cleanliness. Many better options in the area for same or half price

Overall an average stay. Checkin was quick, room conditions are okay. Most of the items in the menu was not available for lunch. Room service was okay, in spite of being unseason, had to call room service couple of times for getting an additional pillow. Requested room to be cleaned after we came back from the beach, but nobody turned up. Rooms were okay.

worthless. smelly rooms, dirty bedsheets, fungus in cupboard. Rude staff. Food also not tasty.

The location is excellent. Very near to the beach. You can see the mesmerizing view of sunset from the hotel upper deck. Food is good. Can have more variety in breakfast but the preparation is good. We had a room with a balcony facing the sea. It was lovely.

If you want an excellent property with amazing sea view, good amenities and extraordinary staff along with a pocket friendly budget, sagara is your destination. Mr. Immanuel (the operation manager) and other staff of the hotel are extremely friendly and will go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. Mr. Immanuel will guide you on the to-do list for kovalam. The ayurvedic full body massage shouldn’t be missed at any cost. Dr. Anjali and prashant at the spa were awesome. Stay in sagara for very good food, warm hospitality and mesmerising views. Also do not miss the amazing sea food at us-tad hotel, about 400 mts from sagara.

Property is old but having all the modern facilities. No compromise. Food is good and staff are well mannered. The help and support from mr suhas gm of the group is worth mentioning

Very old hotel. . Toilet flush and swimming pool not good quality. Not a value for money. Rooms are not clean.
